The last two years I went to the new year's eve party at pacific pinball museum. That was pretty fun. This year I'll be in NYC visiting my brother. I'm hooking up with a few NYC pinheads while I'm out there from the 25th to the 3rd. Any New Yorkers want to hook up, drop me a line.

My new year's resolutions this year are:

    1) Get back in shape!
    2) Buy at least one pinball game, but preferably two.

Plans: 4 nights in Vegas, Guns N' Roses concert at the Joint on New Year's Eve.

    2012 Resolution: Pay for 2011

    #3 7 years ago

New Year's Day pinball tournaments in my business.

For 2012, still trying to recover pool tables, get a new rug, and a few more games.

    Start running marathons again.

Gonna hang at home with the wife and kids on NYE.

Resolution: Finish my WWF project so I can get started on BK!

    Quoted from jonnyo:

    1) Get back in shape!

This is number one on my list as well. I was in the best shape of my life about a year ago, and I really slacked off the second half of 2011. Interestingly, my overall physical condition appears to be inversely proportional to the amount of pins I own.

A few years back I got really into running again, but eventually I got a little bored of it. I've always wanted to try boxing, and I also have some friends who do the MMA thing. I think it would be fun and challenging, so after some conditioning I might give them a go.

    1:organize pinball/golf event
    2:exercise more
3:buy NO pins unless it is TS or AFM
4:use more obvious sarcasm, wit and taunts to really gain friends.

Oh yeah, and plans for Dec 31st? Heh, I am working. Life is grand.

I worked out with an MMA fight team 1 time,Was a lot of fun but the excercizes killed me LOL ,I was sore for a week,I was 49 years old and held my own in the grappling until I ran out of gas against fighters less than half my age!!

    #13 7 years ago

To beat all my existing high scores

    #14 7 years ago

    To buy a MM.

    My resolution is to:

1: Own Iron Man Pro fully loaded with cointakers including back box color shifting kit, shaker, and Pinball Pro speaker kit.

2: Get a Pinball Pro kit for TZ so it doesn't get upset with IM and IJ.

3: Shop less pins in order to play more.

    4: Smoke more beer.

I know it's a cliche but I'm planning on getting my grades higher and actually start saving money for university rather than spending it on things I don't even need.

    #19 6 years ago

    Warning, kill joy ahead.

Many (many) years ago I decided to Never have a new year resolution. If I needed to change something (get in shape, focus on work, or focus on family....etc....) I change it right then.....no waiting for Jan 1.

Buy a really nice machine that doesn't need to sit around waiting to be fixed by my lazy ass...what a concept!

EDIT: Make my lazy ass fix the current game that;s sitting around so i can get the new one.

Funny this came up again and how things went.

For 2012, still trying to recover pool tables, get a new rug, and a few more games.

For 2013 dropping all tournaments outside of the Pinball Circus, will do the Spring and Fall Pinball Circus.

And still hope to recover pool tables and get a new rug. Maybe a game or two.

I hope everyone has a great New Year !

Figure out a way to follow LLOYDS advice and kick my family to the curb to make room for my pinball machine!

If that don't work out I'll just follow last years plan,at least that has worked well.
