I have an hour long commute every day, so I go through a lot of audiobooks. Here are a few of my favorite series:

The Bobiverse series by Dennis E Taylor — nerd becomes interstellar probe.

The Interdependency series by John scalzi. It’s good old fashion space opera.

The murderbot diaries by Martha Wells. A series of short stories that are very well done that center around a security cyborg that just wants to watch TV. I’m not sure this one is available in print.

The imperial Radch space opera series by Ann leckie. Very good space opera with some interesting premises. The only downside is you spend most of the book trying to figure out the characters genders. One of the premises of the book is that the story is told from the first person, and that characters native language has no gender pronouns. So everyone is She unless she has to speak a different language.

Yet another vote for the expanse series. I have all the audio books.
