Working on Teacher's Pet. Thought I was in the home stretch the other night before I found the pop bumper and sling shots have coils with non-removable metal sleeves. All showed signed of uneven wear and are playing a little sluggish. Oh well, five coils and plungers on order. I now hope to finish up early next week. The game will also need to have a cabinet stencil at some point. Someone painted it by hand with a bush and did a terrible job. For now I will hide it in a dark corner.

Now that the Teacher's Pet restore is done, it's on to Spanish Eyes. Spanish Eyes has been a lot of work already. Basically just need to put the playfield back in and rebuild the flippers and a few assemblies.

Getting ready to start up my Spanish Eyes after what has apparently been many years. I was inspecting the backbox and found a missing coil on the match unit. Looks like this game never had a reset coil, this being a match unit. Looking at the schematic, the coil should be an A-22-500. There are three loose wires in the area and one looks like it was soldered in two places base on the second strip location. Can someone upload a picture of their Spanish Eyes or another game with the same unit so I can make sure I get this right?

Edit: I found the manual and answered my own question.

Just finished Spanish Eyes. Tomorrow I will flip a coin to see which game is next: Fun Land Pinball or Haunted House Gun Game... I will probably wimp out and go with the Fun Land. The gun game is out of my comfort zone.

There's going to be a lot of nice EMs up and running after this quarantine is over. Next up for me in the double wide shop spot is Fun Land. This one should be a pretty simple shop out and tweak. For the sake of all that's good in this world I will also swap out the cool white LEDs that are in there right now for something a little bit more tasteful.

Quoted from goldenboy232:

Continuing to work on Jacks Open. Touched up the black circles around the inserts today.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I use a paint pen and circle template from Hobby Lobby. Your free hand skills are way beyond mine. Those look awesome!!

Back together. Time for play testing and tweaking.

I have a player's condition Sky Jump. I have a new playfield coming. What a great game - even with the old cupped inserts driving me crazy. Can't wait to get to play this game with a new playfield.

Quoted from ReallifePin:

Finally got my Beat the Clock back together. Still working on my To-Do list but it plays pretty well as is. But man, if things weren't gummed up from decades old "lubricant". Worst steppers I have ever worked on.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Wow! That game is beautiful and it's on my wish list. I'll go ahead and call dibs on it for what it's worth.

Modified my Teacher's Pet to make the scoring more the way I like it. I probably should have put this here rather than its own thread, but I figured it would be easier for people who own the game to find in its own linked thread...

I already have some projects going, but these will keep me busy in the near future.

That should not be hanging. Swing it up and into the slots so you can tighten the wing nuts to secure it. You can swing that down to help access the switches to adjust them, but it really should be up to ensure it works properly and so it doesn't hit anything as you raise and lower the playfield.
