Not the one you got from me like 5 years ago?!
S5 is a great phone!
Make sure the plastic film isn't still covering the lense. My wife was always conplaining my phone take better pictures (same phone). Took about 3 years to realize the film was still on it, and that was the day her phone died.

Nope. That was my first one. Have come across four more since then.
Sold three so far.

That happened to me when I got a company BlackBerry years ago, but it only took me a couple of shots to realize that the plastic was still on the lens. I've had this one a long time, and the plastic is long gone.
It's taken decent shots before. Maybe I'll try a different auto focus setting.
Working on two of them, one if a Little Chief which I've had for about 3 weeks now and making slow progress on. The second which I picked up this weekend is a Skylab. This one is going to a friend's house. She loves the space theme, this game will be well-cared for there once I'm done with it.
_First_Look1 (resized).jpgI'm trying to finish up a Bally Safari, but I need one damn switch that I can't seem to find anywhere on the planet. I ordered what we thought was the correct switch from PBR on two separate occasions, but no dice. I tried the parts seeking thread with no luck either.
Anyway, I managed to repair the left plastic a few days after taking this picture. She cleaned up pretty good.

What's special about the switch, it's short length? You need both the small and longer
one? It takes the regular size insulating spacers, not the smaller ones right?
What's the length of the blade(s) that you could use?

What's the length on the correct blade? I've probably got something in my stash that's at least as long and you can cut and redrill to make it the right length.
Marble Queen.just cleaning up the pf and getting it ready to reassemble.already have new bg and plastics for it.

Thanks to both of you! I'll measure it when I get home from work tonight.
The switch itself is fine, it's just the top is apparently snapped off, so the pop bumper scores, but won't fire. I thought of pulling the switch and soldering on an extension. Maybe that's easier?

I saw it in person. It is a high power contact. Will have to be custom built or replaced with another high power blade made to fit.

As in "big contact button"? I suspect I probably have something in my stash that would work. I still need the length to be able to figure that out.

Why don't you buy loose switch blades and points from PBR and make the one you need? The biggest issue would be to define the blade thickness you need, which takes a micrometer.
And the switch that is in place looks like it was already replaced so, to me, following it as a guide could be misguided. So who knows if that configuration is correct. The schematic should give you an idea whether that should be a high voltage contact.
Quoted from MikeO:The schematic should give you an idea whether that should be a high voltage contact.
Judging by the contact its a high current item, really should not be hard to come up with something.
Thanks for all the suggestions. The ones I got didn't have the right hole configuration. The holes were too big and too far apart. I spent some time last night and soldered a piece onto the short switch and it seems to work just fine.
All that's left is figuring out the 10 point bell and what to do with the apron. The cabinet is a mess, but I don't think I'm going to screw with that for right now. I don't want to hijack this thread anymore, so I'll be asking for help with the bell in my other thread if anyone wants to stop by and offer assistance.
Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

Cats in Pinball machines. Who needs sound cards or chimes! Ha! ***Use 2 for stereo sound.

Where does this rank compared to Big Daddy gameplay?

Now that all the inserts are level and it is freshly topcoated and waxed, it is very fast and tough. Different game altogether than Big Daddy, so it is kind of hard to compare. The multiball is a real neat feature. Very unique game for that or the entire EM era for that matter.
The theme and artwork really suits me also, so it will be sticking around for quite a while, I believe.

The art on that is something else. I saw it this morning and was blown away. As luck would have it, as of this afternoon, it looks like I'll be adding one to my collection. Nice to hear it's a good player too.

I’m in the process of working on one as well but got sidetracked with another project. It’s a keeper for sure. They seem to be hard to come by despite the production numbers.
Mine came with a modded clock unit that resets at the beginning of each game. I've been pouring over the schematics and the way it's supposed to work in regards to specials and clock special is something else.
If I'm reading it correctly, you get to 12, it lights the 6 o clock special, and the two outer kickout holes for special. But only getting one kickout special will turn them all off. Meaning you can get a clock special then a kickout hole special, but not the other way around. I'm going to check for proper wiring and operation when I get home.
The A B C D special in the upper rollover should stay lit until the end of the game.
Good luck getting them all!
Quoted from Sea_Wolf:Finally finished rebuilding the 2 yellow pop bumpers on my Flip a Card. While I was at it, I put on new skirts and caps, removed the nasty Mylar rings and after cleaning I repainted the circles, clear coated and waxed.

That game is another sleeper. Great player, as is it's add-a-ball counterpart "Card Trix".

Merry-Go-Round first Gottlieb metal rail. Cabinet was painted over red and white, transformer burned some time back and was Frankensteined back to life. Working on final mechanicals.

Having never worked on a Bally em before, I have a few things to figure out. Can the pop bumpers be rebuilt with Gottlieb parts? Flipper bushings? Flashing delay relays? Hmmm... I got about 98% of the grunge off the play field! LOL.

Working on a Bally Kick Off right now, but whenever the ball hits a 10 point switch, the coil in the head energizes and won't score. Coil will stay energized.

I would check the 10 point relay.I've had it happen before if the contacts are dirty they won't complete their task and stay locked on.
Last week I worked on all 10 of mine. I just moved them after they were sitting around for about 6 months not being played. The move caused a lot of issues with the switches. Switches had to be cleaned up and adjusted on almost every pin. I'm down to just trying to fix Sweet Hearts up. But it's giving me problems.

I played a Time Zone at Replay about 3 years ago and LOVED it. It took me 2 years to find the right one. It’s an awesome pin. Wax it and high tap it and enjoy the sounds and shots!

Thanks. Will check
In 1963 Williams took a big step forward and reinvented the wheel. Or reel if you will. The old style had remained basically unchanged since Wms first introduced score reels in pinball machines in 1953. It worked well, but was big and bulky and had certain moving parts that after many plays would wear.
This new design was compact, easy to service, and remained in use until the end of the EM era. I'm not sure I've ever needed a new part for any of them. Total time to take apart, clean, lube, and adjust switches- about 10-15 minutes.

Restoring a Gottlieb Top Card and a Gottlieb Spin Out, both of which will be for sale by end of March. Planning to take both to Texas Pinball Festival in Dallas area at end of March of haven’t sold by then.
