Saved this youngster from the dumpster and it was on my wishlist. Dirty as hell and had shattered tempered glass all through the cabinet.
It had been sitting in the back of a garage in Nashville since the early 90s and yes it came complete with a syringe and hypodermic needle and a screwdriver buried under the bottom board.
Backglass is trashed pretty good but the playfield and plastics should clean up good. Looking forward to restoring this one but it is my last one. The inn is full.

I believe it's the last single player game made by Williams.
Quoted from jrpinball:I believe it's the last single player game made by Williams.
I think I read that. Pretty cool.
Also had a stick of incense in the backbox. 30 year old Patchouli maybe.

Nice hypodermic needle too. That's a bit of a project, but I'm sure you'll make it nice.

Back in the early/mid 90s when I was picking machines up left and right
for a hundred bucks, just a couple towns away I remember looking at a Wild
Card, but turned it down because they wouldn't take less than $200.00 for it.
That one I probably should have paid the price. It was cherry..
Quoted from jrpinball:"Free Fall"

So why is the middle pop bumper and cap different on the add a ball Free Fall than on the replay version Sky Jump?
Almost bought a Sky Jump but the guy changed his mind about selling. Cool machines.

Just different games, I guess.
Add-a-ball games have different scoring and rule sets than replay games. Pop bumper values are often different between the two versions.

I thought you were going to be working on the Speed Rush! Can't wait to see some progress on that.
Free Fall does look nice though.

Thanks. That Sky Jump Pop cap is definitely unique.
Wild Card playfield cleaning and paint touch up finished. Fixed the mangled spinner too. Could do a little more touch up on the yellow but it’s so transparent and I don’t want any buildup. Not perfect but I can live with it. Ready for clear coat.
Amazing how well this game functions for sitting as long as it has.

I’ve always been interested in this pin. It looks like it will be fun. Do you plan to fill in the cupped inserts with the clear?
Quoted from Silverstreak02:I’ve always been interested in this pin. It looks like it will be fun. Do you plan to fill in the cupped inserts with the clear?
Yeah I’m excited about getting this one going. And yes I am going to eventually level off the inserts. I did it on my Aladdin’s Castle and it plays and looks so much better.
I’m finally done adding to my collection and am looking forward to spending the winter fine tuning and making what I have look as good as possible.
Got a few neglected pups in the lineup.
Working on a fun project... rewiring a Bally NightRider EM into a Bally Evel Knievel EM. 13 additional relays, 5 relays on bottom board rewired. Multiple score motor stacks reworked. Replaced a 3 bump score motor disk with a 4 bump (was 5 bump) disk.
About 160 hours so far. Plays, only a couple of minor wiring mistakes. Thanks for everybody on the parts needed thread for helping out.
I did borrow an EK EM to use as ref in the beginning. Very useful.
Now time to get the cab done... see it at TPF

Quoted from phil-lee:All I can say is WOW.
Im in the process of doing a second one, going a little faster second time around...
was able to get the bg reproduced. CPR has (or had) the EK pf. And lots of time on my hands.
Got to find somebody to reproduce the flipflop board for the bus jumping lamps.
flipflop (resized).JPGTrying to clear all the discrepancies of games in the collection. This is in anticipation of a playfield delivery from the restorers.
1977 Williams Wild Card
Bumpers would flicker despite new lamp sockets almost too tight to get a bulb into them. Got the bulbs to stay illuminated by scuffing the bulb base and then applying dielectric grease. No more flickering bumpers.
Installed missing beer seal on lockdown bar. Installed 455 flashers from PBR.
1972 Williams Super Star
No apron credit light. Credit unit switch adjustment and new bulb resolved problem.
Installed new side drain pop up rubber. Both fit perfect.
1975 Bally Wizard
2 adjacent pf lights would not illuminate. Not surprising since I installed this Wade Krause pf. I now own a long nose upholstery stapler to tack the braid down on pf swaps so this stuff doesn’t happen. Moved braid to get lights to work again. Doh!
1976 Ball Capt Fantastic
Player unit not stepping properly. 3 ball game would play over 3 players. Cleaned and lubed disc and wipers. 3 ball game now stays on first player.
Intermittent ball in play illumination. Cleaned ball count disc and wipers.
Not awarding or illuminating side drain or drop target special. Adjusted alternator relay.
1975 Gottlieb Atlantis
Intermittent ball in play illumination and occasional game over run on. Cleaned player unit to resolve those issues.
1977 Bally Black Jack
Broken wire in harness found which prevented Spade bumper from illuminating. Gang of 4 suits of cards relays out of adjustment from seeking Spade bumper solution. Going to have to circle back to this one.
Ring sets purchased for most of the games in my collection as the oldest restorations are starting to petrify.
Wild Card plastics cleaned up really nice with some Mean Green. I guess the protective coating of filth preserved them.
It seems like if a machine sits idle in a garage for 25+ years, it’s better off cosmetically with no playfield glass on. That was the situation according to the owner’s grandson and the playfield stayed in good shape and cleaned up pretty easy.

Thanks. I got lucky on this one. Glad I snagged it.
It does need a new backglass. It’s pretty rough and I believe my only option is BGRESTO for this title.

Give them a good stroking with Novus 2 on both the front and back. They'll look like new.

This is a forum for posting project pins for sale, not a want to buy list. Please read the first post.
*bluespin* I get that, I'm looking to start a new project, and that list I provided is what project I'm willing to work on and keep.
Quoted from jrpinball:Give them a good stroking with Novus 2 on both the front and back. They'll look like new.
Thanks for the tip. The Novus 2 really brightened up the backside of them.

Thanks. I just reached out to both of them.
Quoted from jrpinball:I doubt Mayfair has that glass, but it can't hurt to ask.
Yeah I need something. After changing dead bulbs in the backbox, I noticed how bad. Flakes went everywhere.
A2943D27-ADA9-4CCB-B1AF-6DCEDB5FC759 (resized).jpegI am in need of a green insert on our Centigrade 37. One of the four that are near the saucer has a crack.
Any leads would be appreciated.
I cannot verify the size but I suspect they’re smaller than 1”, and I see that pbresource offers 1” green.

You might try Wade since he's reproduced the pf. May not be an exact match.
Everything on the Venus is all set. Just need to have the glass made for the "SHOOT AGAIN"
modification. On the Kick-a-Poo, when the center (70) pocket is made, the same player shoots
again which makes for a better playing machine, so I converted that same feature to the Venus..

Underrated game IMO; PBR carries those pesky rollover button parts if you have to replace. If you only need to adjust the height, that's painful, simply because the stop nut at the bottom of the rollover button is so difficult to adjust... I've sent those tiny parts across my basement trying to pry those off their bases... I now carry a bunch of WMS rollover parts in my tool box.
Just picked this Bally Space Time last week from an antique shop, going to start going through it and cleaning it up. It is in pretty good shape already, though it has a few issues I need to work out. I was pleased as to the condition it is in.

Thats a great game, I recently finished one up including major playfield paint issues. There are some unique features that make it one of those games where you end up with 15k points at the end or 70k
Good luck,
Dave

It is certainly a lot of fun! I will have to do some minor touchups on the playfield paint, but mostly just a lot of cleaning.

Agree, interesting unique layout/scoring mechanisms with the time tunnel compared to typical Gottlieb games. I did a Time Zone a couple years ago and enjoy it as something different in my gameroom. Underrated/under appreciated game IMO.
