Got my Criss Cross firing at 99%. Just waiting for a coil for the credit unit step up to get here and it’ll be working perfectly.
Next up- rebuilding the flippers and disassembling the pops for rebuilds and touch ups underneath.
I need to decide what to do for the sunken inserts. They are not loose at all, and I’m worried about breaking them if I remove them. The art is so detailed.. I think I’ll ask the gurus in the woodrail thread. Open to suggestions here as well.
I’ve decided to leave the cabinet paint as is. Plenty of names carved in but presents well for a 60 year old game.
Have a repro bg and plastics on the way from Shay. It has wood legs on it now, but It’ll have the appropriate almond cream powder coated legs as well.
All said and done, I will have spent way more time and money than the machine would ever be “worth”. But, value isn’t solely defined in dollars.
Cheers!
