Today I have been listening to multiple versions of the Woodstock performance of Soul Sacrifice by Santana. Besides enjoying the music, I have been picking apart the details of the various edits that have been done over the years. That song has been repeatedly hacked in a number of bad ways unfortunately. The most popular version on YouTube with over 47 million views is complete garbage and a travesty at 6 minutes 17 seconds.

Grateful Dead live show on vinyl (of course) from 6/17/91. For anyone that is interested, it’s a fantastic late era Dead show.

Sunday through Tuesday afternoons I listened to the entire studio discography of Blue Oyster Cult

Wednesday I listened to the entire DLR led Van Halen studio discography

This afternoon I started it off with Tygers of Pan Tang Crazy Nights followed by a Def Leppard mix of their first two albums. Next up is Styx Classics, Volume 15. After that maybe a mix of Jon Oliva containing Savatage and Doctor Butcher tracks.

Perfect sunrise tunes. Mellow, trippy coupled with a smooth vibe.

Starting the night with an under appreciated album. Don’t except the Allman Brothers, just expect Gregg Allman.

I never seem to listen to music in the house other then whats already on my Jukebox and what ever song I'm playing on the guitar. But I always have something good playing in the truck going back and forth to work everyday. For about the last three months I've listened to nothing but Dire Straits. Always good to go back a get re-familiarized with all there music.

Well, Brown Eyed Girl just came on. To which I blurted out an expletive. _____You, Morrison and switched the channel to Zeppelin. No more Clapton for me, either.

I bought that album in 1980 and it remains one of my favorites. I saw him in 1994, solo, and it was awesome. He played much of that album that night.

I'm a huge Clapton and Allman brothers fan. How about some Christmas tunes to celebrate the holidays via another great blues guitarist?
