Well curiosity got the better of me and so I decided it’s time to sound off on some positives of pinball! What are some of your favorite shots or features in games you have played? Shots that make you smile every time you hit them. Features that you thought showed ingenuity or that are just plain fun. Honestly I have a ton I enjoy but I will just name a few. The ring shot in LOTR. The shifter on getaway. The canon on Black rose. The Death Star kill shot on Star Wars. Everything about Williams Indy. Knocking down the castle in medieval madness. Sound off about what you like!!

Ive been playing a lot of Taxi lately. I really love the multi ball and trying to make the express lanes in sequence.

On Harlem Globetrotters, making the standup for a special, an extra ball, and open the gate all in one shot.

    And the music!

more simply, i like stand up targets in a row, even more when a "gift" is behind :

harlem : the hole, for points & special
    MET : multiball & magnet
    8BDLX : points, special
dolly parton : points, EB, special
    and much much more

also captive ball, as in mystic...

    IJA - Center ball lock

I Freeking love this shot! So first you have the bank of drop targets to knock down and on most games they'll cause exciting and unpredictable air balls. Some people don't like airballs but they just don't like fun. Then after you've survived an air ball or two you get to shoot into the most satisfying hook style scoop shoot around. It cracks right into the hole like Indy's whip.

But the fun isn't done because now your ball rolls into one of the sexiest looking ball locks in all of pinball.

Nailing a spinner on a machine with chimes.

    #19 5 years ago

Physical ball locks where you can see the ball sitting there, waiting for you to get multi-ball going.
Even better if it's able to be stolen in multi-player games.

I just recently came to own a BtDK and the crane shot is sooooo fun to hit! I guess the same goes for BM66 then.

The first multiball jackpot shot! Side ramp on High Speed. An oldie but a goodie.

Shots that put a huge smile on my face....

    1. Batman Dark Knight-Hitting the Crane with a shaker motor
    2. Star Trek-Hitting the Warp ramp over three consecutive times in a row
    3. Star Wars-Blowing up the Death Star
    4. No Good Gophers-Hitting that Hole In One
    5. STTNG- Hitting several shots with cannons during Battle Simulation
    6. Avengers-Hitting Black Widow ramp repeatedly.

Man just talking about these shots put's a smile on my face.
