First time grilling on my Pit Boss K24 ceramic grill. Ribs!! Right side had a garlic bbq sauce. Left side just a rub. Pulled clean off the bone after 2-2-1 rib grilling method.

Trying ribeyes on my egg for the 1st time tonight. 650 degrees for 2 minutes on one side. Flip and 2 minutes on the other side. Flip again, cut off the air flow and cook for 3 mins. Wrap in foil and let sit for 5-10 minutes before serving. We'll see how it goes!

Hoping for a juicy, medium rare steak

2 ribeyes and 1 filet mignon. Seared at 650 for 2 minutes on each side. Closed the air flow and cooked for 2.5 more minutes. 7 minutes wrapped in foil with butter. Other than a couple flare ups when flipping, all went very smooth.

Came out a juicy medium rare. Soooooo good! Loving this egg thing

I'm going for my first brisket with the point for burnt ends this weekend on a BGE. Any tips?

There are a lot of opinions on these out there. I'm thinking 230 degrees for 8-10 hours depending on internal temps for an 8 lb piece of meat using pecan chunks.

Step 1 for the brisket- Apply rub and let it sit in saran wrap overnight

After 3 hours of smoke at 240 on big green egg. Internal temp is 153. Gonna give it another hour or so to get to 160-170 internal temp and wrap in foil for another couple hours.

Took 4.5 hours to get good bark and internal temp was 165-170. Totally agree if you're lookin you ain't cookin. Wrapped in foil and back on the grill.

Everything I've seen says it's done anywhere between 190 and 205. The plan is to go by probe and by temp since this is my first crack at one of these.

Wife just asked what time we are having dinner. Been telling her all week to be prepared to order pizza if this thing isn't done.

I'm hoping to get 1-3 hours of rest in a cooler with towels. Not sure how long I can hold the wife and kids back when dinner time comes but will at least get an hour.

Any suggestions for smoking a boneless turkey breast on a BGE? My father in law bought two 9 lb boneless turkey breasts. Gonna fry one and smoke one for Thanskgiving dinner. Frying is easy. Worried a bit about smoking.

From what I've read, cook at 325 for 1.5 to 2 hours. Cook until internal temp of 165. Let rest in foil for 20-30 minutes. Inject and rub before smoking. Plan to use hickory chunks and cherry wood with lump I have leftover from the summer.

I'm figuring I will time the fried turkey for when dinner is served. I'll try to time the smoked turkey for the same time. If it is done a little before or a little after dinner, so be it.
