One of the big three - rib-eye, porterhouse or filet. Whatever looks good at the market the day before. May throw on some lamp chops or shrimp as a side meat. Done over real charcoal of course.

#10 5 years ago

This weekend, I hope to do some Tilapia with coconut curry and cashews.
I wrap up in tinfoil, top shelf and let the sweet curry steam through the fish.
Fresh corn on the cob on the grill.
Appetizers will be shrimp. scallop and pineapple skewers with Mango sauce.

Boneless, skinless chicken thighs stuffed with jalapeño peppers and cream cheese, then wrapped in bacon. Smoke them, pull them off and dunk in BBQ sauce. Throw them back on for about 5 minutes to tighten up the sauce and enjoy. These things are phenomenal.

Actually, anything I've made that this guy comes up with is incredible. I highly recommend his channel if you're into grilling at all.

You are always welcome here LTG, it might be quite a drive for some burgers and dogs though.

We will have some killer potato salad though.

Anyone into smoking?? I'd take that over grilling any day. Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken... Low and slow is the way to do it!

I've used an offset side firebox smoker for years, but it's getting harder for me to keep track of temperatures and vents. Just got a cabinet style dual fuel smoker that auto regulates everything, and I'm anxious to start her up!

I’d say Turtle posted some fine specimens. We’ll definitely smoke a butt and some ribs this weekend. Plus the usual suspects on the grill: saussage, brats, porterhouse, corn, bugers, Kalbi.

Man this week better go by quick!!

Edit: And good luck with the new setup. Please let us know how it works out.

Halibut steaks with lemon pepper, swordfish steaks with garlic pepper grilled on oak and hickory boards, grilled/roasted jalapenos, twice baked potatoes with cheddar, green onions/chives, sour cream, bacon bits, and butter, garlic cheese bread, and steamed broccoli or brussels sprouts.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes smoking low and slow - brisket 12hours, pork butt 8 hours, ribs 5 hours (no pics), wings.

I bought a Woodwind last year and love it. I had never owned a pellet smoker before, but it's really easy to use. Fill the hopper, turn the dial and that's it. Mine even has a propane sear box on the side in case I want to put a sear on a steak or something.

Did these a few weeks ago.

A small piece of pork belly on the Weber kettle. I had to sample the crackling, (lower right), before I took it off lol! Turned out awesome!

Thanks and yes. We grill and BBQ smoke all year around. I've also done bread and pizza (can't find any pics). And we do burgers, dogs, steaks, fish, etc...

Nicely done. I use a Big Green Egg and have been very happy with it. I also have a Weber gas grill for quicker grilling.

Love my Trager pellet grill.
Smokes pretty good and cooks up to 425f using wood pellets and convection so I can cook chicken and brats to (chicken is amazing on this thing) Super easy and I use when it’s gets down to zero degrees outside.

Pictures of brisket on the grill, babbybacks and beef jerky.

Not sure if this counts as a grill but I bought a rocbox propaine pizza oven. It takes about an hour to heat up to over 800f and will cook a homemade pizza (not from frozen) in 90 seconds!
I do make dough in advance and freeze it in freezer vacuum bags.

Not sure what I'll cook but the Big Green Egg will be busy! Pizza, filet mignon, mahi mahi, Cajun shrimp, chicken wings, chicken nuggets or maybe something "low and slow". It'll be fun!

Need a good pizza dough recipe. Had the Sir Pizza recipe but lost it.

Can’t wait for the long weekend. I’ve got big plans to smoke a pork butt on my Weber Smokey Mountain. Might throw some chicken wings on there too!

I've only seen them at Sam's Club around here. They are pre-seasoned which I found way too salty.
