They're so small, can't think of what they may be from. Perhaps a side mounted ticket dispenser?

Do they go all the way through to the inside of the cabinet?

Drink holder.

Or ashtray holder, if it is a reimport.

Yep. Seems pretty large for a drink/ashtray holder. No wear on the outside or inconsistent fading, perhaps used to mount something inside?

If this machine came from Spain, they have to put the licence on every machine exactly this size.

Hmm no signs that it was a reimport. Not too worried about it, but just curious. Thanks for the input!

Holster for your side arm and Book of Law.

Interesting. Can't be for a ticket dispenser - those are usually mounted on the bottom, as a larger hole is needed for the wires.

Used for mounting licenses usually

Those are speed holes. Makes the game faster.

Seller was a big time hamster breeder. Kept about one hundred of those varmints inside it. Now the game is sold and gone, he had to find homes for each one. Should have included one in your sale. Call today, call now and request your free hamster.

PS - I had a pristine Shadow cabinet with similar hole pattern. I never could figure out the mystery but am leaning towards license theory. Drink holder / ashtray hypothesis doesn't seem realistic.

I had something similar on the sides of my shadow. They don't go in very far. Never could figure out what they were.

I've had a couple pins that had a similar hole size/patern.

They were both re-imports. Both machines had vendor license plates attached to them w/ really small wood screws.

If it were only 2 holes, I'd say it was for an ash tray, but the holes would be much larger due the larger screws used to attach it.

That's a for some licensing plate (as others have said). And it's not limited to reimports. My Cyclone had it (and it was US only, from the looks of it...). Looks identical. On Mine the frame/plate was still attached. I got rid of it....

Anyone got a pic of what the licensing plates look like attached? Just curious.

Hobbit glory holes.

Termites!

They are license holder holes. I purchased a couple pins over seas. On 2 pins, the plastic license holder was attached but paperwork removed.
