I’m sitting here watching the movie 3 From Hell and it got me thinking about horror themed pins. What’s your Top 5 (or maybe Top 3) horror themed pins of all time? I guess a third of my pins could be considered horror pins, so maybe I should keep it going and add another.

    Bram Stoker's Dracula
    Mary Shelly's Frankenstein
    Phantom of the Opera
    Haunted House
    Tales from the Crypt

    Alice Cooper
    Bram Stokers Dracula
    Scared Stiff
    Mary Shellys Frankenstein
    Tales From the Crypt

If Addams is horror slot it in above Scared Stiff. Walking Dead will certainly make the top 5, but I’d put it just below all of the above

    Monster Bash
    Fathom
    Ghostbusters
    Willy Wonka
    Addams Family

You can’t convince me that Willy Wonka isn’t a horror story.

Good call with Alice Cooper. TWD makes my Top 5 as well. Not sure if EHoH fits the bill, but it is a Top 5 pin in any category.

I’d love a pure horror pin one of these days.

    Nice subtle call with WW.

    TWD
    Jurassic Park (Stern)
    BSD
    Alien
    Stranger Things

If JP doesn’t count, Godzilla would be next on my list.

With the exception of Freddy which isn't all the great they really haven't made a true horror pin.

    #9 3 years ago

1 should be Alien , plus the backstory to make the game is scary

BSD has to be on the list. Put a pin sound system in with the alternate sound tracks and the game can give you the chills

Monster Bash LE. Sorry to the original fans , but, the remake LE is a better version.

TWD and EHOH. Coding master pieces.

CFTBL. The hologram is an excellent toy (even when blue . )

Alternate: MSF , an under appreciated game . Put in a color dmd and pin sound system and it would be a real gem.

I consider IMDN a horror theme, so I would put it up there with TWD.

I don’t think of that but I agree. That really should be at the top of my list.

    BLY Vampire
    BLY Centaur
    BLY Medusa
    Game Plan Cyclopes
    and finally
    CCoin Beatniks
just looking at that backglass gives me the willies

    Quoted from Hazoff:

With the exception of Freddy which isn't all the great they really haven't made a true horror pin.

Even Freddy doesn't immerse you into a world of horror the way a pin could if truly geared to be a horror experience, but it is perhaps the closest.

    1) BSD
    2) TWD Prem/LE
    3) RZ
    4) TFTC (some of the best horror animations [if not the best])
    5) Freddy (not a great game at home due to the linear/shallow code, but lots of cool stuff with the moving mouth, door, flipper glove, and claw save).

ACNC gets some honorable mention, but it's a bit too lighthearted to feel anything like horror.

Also some honorable mention for Mr. Black...I've never seen one in person, but it has some of the creepiest looking artwork, and I like the game it copies (would buy one if anyone has one for sale ).

And yeah, games like EHOH and MB are top notch, but just not "horror" IMO.

I added a poll. Just curious how much in the minority I am.

    TWD
    MB
    CFTBL
    Alice Cooper
    The Addams Family

I think a Halloween pin based on the 1978 movie would be cool.
