I would put TomCat F-14 on the list. What are some of the hardest tables for you?

#2 8 years ago

8-ball
slick chick
dragon
Swinger/F*&% Fest

#4 8 years ago

Various POTC Wizard modes are near impossible to reach

#5 8 years ago

RBION is also hard as hell to complete as the shots required are all drainer-risks

#6 8 years ago

Walking dead, iron man, and lost world of jurassic park

I would say oak is one of the hardest tables...

BSD and IM always come to mind

Once you gewt good at F14 it's a very forgiving pin as far as I'm concerned. Makes. You pay for missed shots but certainly not a drain monster.

#12 8 years ago

Flight 2000 is somewhat challenging to get multimall--a lot of targets and rollovers need to be hit, and there's no lane change assist.

Iron man, definitely.

I agree. I don't usually have too much trouble with F14.

#15 8 years ago

Pinbot I always found hard. Tough to work through the planets.

#16 8 years ago

A ton of EM's, but for some reason I have always struggled badly with Central Park.

#17 8 years ago

Baywatch, Popeye, & RBION. That's the main reason I own these.

#18 8 years ago

Williams Rancho with the steel cabinet.

#19 8 years ago

FT and AC/DC

#20 8 years ago

Fathom always seems to give me fits....... SDTM

#21 8 years ago

Metallica and twd are drain monsters for me. Iron man can be rough as well

Rescuing Sweepea is nearly impossible on Popeye with the stock shorty flippers.

Depends what you mean by hard.

Hard to complete? WPT - I don't know if anyone has ever been to keefer invitational.
Shortest ball times? IM, F-14

I'm sure there are other categories I'm missing.

#24 8 years ago

BSD destroys me quite regularly. As in daily.

It doesn't get much harder than steel.

Yeah I'm going by ass kickery. We all agree RBION is hard to do everything in...but a game like Dragoon you're just frikkin toast.

One of the easiest kickback lite shots in pinball as well.

Nip It! can give me fits.

Flash Gordon

A rare game where both bad shots & good shots are equally deadly. Thanks to the split level playfield, the pops location on the center of the playfield & inline drop targets, you're constantly riding the edge between controlled mayhem & total chaos. A drain monster for sure. It's all about building your multipliers for a high score, then banging for head off the glass when you have to start from scratch after every drain. Not for the faint of heart.

Emperor Ming Awaits!

Truck Stop...very hard to complete the circuit. Center drain mad.Once you get multiball, it's over in a blink.

#31 8 years ago

Simpsons....thats a tough one too!

#32 8 years ago

Tales from the crypt ....

Iron Man is the king if you open up those outlanes and give it a decent tilt.

#35 8 years ago

transformers

#36 8 years ago

TWD & WOZ maybe not in that order either.

#37 8 years ago

Iron Man is awesome, because I can beat some good players on it from time to time. That means it's hard, and that luck trumps skill more often than not.

The hardest game I have is Whirlwind....

#38 8 years ago

Well there are pins with crazy deep rule sets that are nearly impossible to finish like tspp, lotr, wpt , rbion woz but most have longer ball times . Then you have pins with great rules that are just drain monsters and very difficult to keep the ball in play like bsd, twd, im, met. So it really depends on what you like but for me its shorter ball times.

There's a link to a similar topic. I think any modern table if set up a certain way can be difficult. Monster bash is the type of game that normally is relatively easy, but the one set up in the PAPA18 A qualifying bank was the most difficult machine I can remember playing recently.

#42 8 years ago

TWD Premium is the toughest game I have ever owned by a long factor...next would be BSD.

#43 8 years ago

Whichever one I drop a quarter in. Pinball, like pimpin, ain't easy.

#44 8 years ago

Out of ForensicD's killer 12 machine line up...TWD kicks my ass so much its not even really fun. So I usually stick with MET (my personal favorite over ALL !)

#45 8 years ago

I'd vote for Ripley's as one of the hardest pins to complete all the modes.

The outlanes in Dirty Harry can make that game a bitch too but I love it. One of the most under rated pins IMO.

#46 8 years ago

BSD is one of the most brutal. Hell, I've even lost to a phantom player!

To "achieve the ultimate goal" however, one must put TSPP and LOTR on the list.

Hickory.

#48 8 years ago

And why do you call them "tables"?

Yep. Unlike the Getaway. Tough to relight the kickback. Getaway is always tough on the ego!!
