And how would you feel if you had 9k,10k invested in one because you did not get in at 5500? Would you feel good? Would you want to support this company in the future if your limited edition was not so limited?

See I am in those shoes and yes I would be pissed. If that's what makes you happy in life, people in this hobby losing all value in their purchase then more power to you.

I would like stern to release Tron 2.0 code instead of a new machine with the new "you suck, you still will never reach portal newb mode".

A vault edition without lighted ramps, and same code as pro is a awesome idea. I owned a pro and decided I wanted the LE so I take full responsibility for my spending. I just would be less then thrilled if Stern renders my game less then special. I did not think it bothered me before but it does because some day who knows I may want to get most of what I paid out on this one. No I don't expect to make money in pinball but I dont expect to get bent over and reamed by a company I support either.

It's really no different then the ruby red fiasco with JJP, Jack says limited edition and then a couple years later says "new super deluxe limited". I am sure a few owners of the green edition had a less then positive taste left in their mouth with that nonsense.

Best of luck on your hunt for A LE or VE or Tron or whatever you end up with. I never played much pinball much growing up so I can relate to your love of modern pinball.
