Not too many shmups fans here, but most are playing the classic arcade games.

AMAZING Restore, I don't think it was that clean when it was built in the factory. Very Very Nice Collection!
I Looked for a candy for 6 years, never found one, so I built 2 and use the xbox 360 in each of them... couldn't find monitors for them either, so I had to use HDTV's but at least I have DDPDFK running beautifully, the rest are ok, but would be much much better on a CRT...
GUYS... That Candy is the equal of a HEP Restore.... again, GREAT JOB!!!

Thanks for the nice words, but the restore was really easy compared to the pinball restoration.
I think there's quite a difference if you play those shmups on a Xbox 360 or with the PCB. I also have a few on the xbox and also MAME, but from the feeling it's really something else. Even i use the same joystick, but maybe just an illusion .
I also have to colllect a few of the real classics (donkey Kong, Pac Man,..) , but in that case a 60 in 1 will do it for me i guess

Progear is a very nice horizontal shmup. Here are all the Cave games listed, so you don't miss another one . My favorite is Muchi muchi pork.

I got another candy cabinet to play horizontal games. So my Taito Egret 2 is for vertical and the new Taito Egret 3 for horizontal games.
