Finished my Donkey Kong Jr. today. What's interesting is that it was converted to something really bad, probably a Crown 8 Ball Action or Superbike. Somehow a conversion board was still stuck in the game and came loose when I moved it in the house. Y'all are welcome to it.

Anyway I added new side art, and replaced the control panel, buttons, and joystick, and added Donkey Kong Jr. Remix which is phenomenal. Get it.

I finished my Ms. Pac Man. There are better cabinets for sure - this one looks like its been rolled down a hill - but what 38 year old doesn't look like it's had some miles? And this thing was running off an ungrounded LAMP CORD when I got it. I won't rework the cabinet as it's just not in my skill level at this time, and it probably isn't cost justified at this time.

New bezel artwork, new marquee, rebuilt power supply, new fuse blocks, new RF filter, replaced on board amplifier, new buttons, reworked joystick.

The meter read 47362 plays on it, meaning it grossed $11840 in its lifetime.

Quoted from dmieczko:

Ms. Pac looks beautiful. Part of me thinks you should have left the original marquee - it faded at about the same rate as the cabinet and the colors actually matched pretty well!!

I get that. I mean I saved it, but it is just *so* washed out. Like no color at all. Also someone painted the front panel of the cabinet, and it honestly looks pretty ok!

When I get time I might revisit cleaning it up.

... huh.

I mean I knew this already but never listened to it side by side.

Well, *I* am a lucky so and so. Space Ace inverted cabinet still running from Laserdisc.

I am going to pull the original logic and Laserdisc out in order to preserve it, and run it with Arthur and Dexter. Really an absolute dream game for me.

Quoted from Gumby510:

No original cab vertical grade laminate artwork ect.

Hot damn, then that is a fantastic piece of equipment.

Quoted from orlandu81:

An arcade is a place to go play games. You got three full arcades?!?!?! Sorry, drives me bananas when I see it written like that. While technically "arcade machine" is also weird, it is more appropriate than arcades. Video games is the most appropriate label.

i have four arcades and 18 pinballs

And agree with you, drives me batty.

Finished a Crystal Castles that needed decaling. Primed, sanded, painted, sanded, and dry installed a special-order decal set from Escape Pod. This is one of the official conversion kits from Missile Command that Atari sold. I have always loved Crystal Castles!

Anyone feel like their Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom is taking up space in their collection?

Quoted from Blake:

That would be fun for a while. Probably put in a switcher.

What, a switcher for DK Jr. Remix? It's in the software already.

Anybody got a RoadBlasters System 1 they need to shed themselves of?
