This is the 2 slot I still have: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=148826.0
This was the big red I used to have: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,72841.msg751522.html
This one started out as a restore, but got MAME'd :
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,80523.msg840340.html \ http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,84398.0.html
I was going to keep it as a "South American Neo Geo" but someone offered me a lot of cash to MAME it (over a decade ago)

Ya I’m remember you from the byoac days where it all started for me. I still talk with Delusional all the time.

I have a Pole Position 2 upright I got in a group buy for sale. 100% working and really nice.

#3053 3 years ago

I have a Star Trek C-A-C upright that I would consider trading for a street level Gottlieb pin. It has a strange monitor issue but the board set does work and it plays. I’m just not a G08 pro and it really needs to go to someone that has experience with that monitor. I tested the game boards in another cabinet and they do work perfectly.

Just finished fixing up a TOOBIN'. Lots of bondo for this one, also needed to replace waterfall motor, etc. Such a great game, and another classic Atari that cannot be replicated through Mame. It fits well next to his brother 720...

Finally got moon patrol up n running after yrs sitting in corner. Wiring was a damn mess, someone put in a switcher and never cleaned up the hacks. Butt end connectors, cutting original harness and splicing in so its all a mish mash. Wire ga too light on monitor, lots of issues. Now it looks good and plays correct.

Nice job. Toobin is such a great game.

Thanks, I really enjoy it and have been working on getting high scores against my children and wife. Now I just need to find a Championship Sprint and a Zeke's Peak or ICB if anyone has one for sale?

Hello Pinside!

The enemy of this hobby has struck again, space. I'm out of space, and a machine needs to go. On the chopping block is my Dual Monitor Playchoice-10 cabinet. I have had it in my personal collection since the beginning and it was my very first classic machine I ever purchased. Machine is in "player's condition" with some minor bumps, scratches, nicks, minor touch-ups, etc. but is super clean, well maintained and works 100%.

Some info:

- Original Sanyo EZ20s have been recapped in 2019 and have had little use in a home-use only environment since. Monitors are super clear, bright and have no visible burn.
- Original Side Art is still on it, with minor touch ups on one side.
- Glass is in very nice shape, no distracting scratches.
- CPO looks to be a repro, and has some minor chipping and peeling underneath which is common for this shaped panel. No worries, I will include a new CPO from Rich at This Old Game with the purchase
- Original Nintendo light gun, clean condition and works well
- Original hard to find holster
- Original metal coin box included
- Original PSU and Transformer included
- Original buttons and sticks are all working
- Original Serial Tags included
- Original Wiring Harness + Filter PCB included
- Original Nintendo Hum included (you can fix this if you choose, there is a thread on KLOV on how to do it somewhere)
- Original Takigen locks on the back (2 keys included) and generic locks in front (2 keys included)
- Base has been replaced and repainted (purchased on KLOV from Spacebaby) - a nice upgrade given how big and heavy this cab is

I'm including the following 7 original games*, PLUS the buyer can choose 3 more carts of the conversions pictured below for a total of 10 carts.

*If less carts are desired, the price can be discussed and adjusted if mutually agreed.

Contra
Duck Hunt
Ninja Gaiden
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. 3
Tyson's Punch-Out!!

Pick 3 from this list of original carts that have been converted with new eproms and labels: (1) Barker Bill's Trick Shooting, (2) Kid Icarus, (3) Super Skate Kid, (4) Faxanadu, (5) Ghosts 'N Goblins

Price is $2,500. Local pickup with cash is preferred, machine is located on the ground level with direct street access (no steps). I'm ok if the buyer wants to use a reputable freight company (like Beltmann or STI), but in this case payment must be made via a wire --- sorry no paypal for remote buys.

Pm me with interest and for additional pictures.

I would love to find one of those Neo Geo SC19 Candy Cabs. Does anyone have insight on where I would be able to find one?
Thanks
Ed

I see these on occasion. They’re rare, expensive, and move fast. If you’re not “in the scene” and following the kinds of places they pop up they sell before you even know they’re available.

Something like a Neo Candy 29 is much easier to get. Which is why that’s the one I have.

That has got to be one of the coolest mini desktop cabinets that I've seen!

#3066 3 years ago

It's a fun little collectible. Has HDMI out and USB ports for controllers, though it's not clear what controllers it actually supports. So you could in theory use it like a console. But I don't care about that, I just wanted to have it for the novelty factor since I have full size Astro Cities.

I've got a working/fully rebuilt color vector monitor (19k6100) and a working recapped/new hv diode BW monitor (g05-802) near Charlotte, NC that I would be open to selling or trading for spare WPC boards in good shape.

Here's a Centipede mini I restored about 30 years ago.

It's my daughter's favorite game and she still has it today.

I just slid in my dk3 and dkjr
... soon dk
After collecting parts and cabs for years, I finally pulled this off.

Being way way out in the sticks, there’s no games to find, I’ve traveled far to acquire all of them, each is special and has its story, especially when some have to be sold or traded to achieve a better quality piece. Then some are fully restored or just cleaned really well.

I recently picked up a dedicated mr. do and reached out to darin @ phoenix arcade to see if he wanted to borrow the upper marquee, bezel and cabinet back marquee to vector and be able to reproduce them. I started a thread on KLoV but it hasn't gotten much traction yet.

it's odd that thisoldgame.com has run some items (like the mr. do control and instruction card cpo's) in the past, but don't seem to be very good about keeping items in stock. I would guess that more than 60% of their listed items are now and have been 'out of stock' for quite some time.

Since they changed their website the amount of listed items has been crap tbh Used to be a LOT more!

TOG does amazing work, as does Darin @ Phoenix.

For the special order items, the MO is that you order and wait an extended period of time. It's just they way they do things. Not saying it is right or wrong (it has been debated at length on KLOV), it is just the way it is. I've waited 12 months for a single marquee from TOG, but the quality was spot on. If Darin has it in stock, it's a no brainer to get from him too, but often times TOG has special order items that no one else has.

Covid boredom has forced me to restore my $400 Wacko. I took it completely apart, fixed all the crappy particle board and polished all the metal. It was a total repaint and all new art. Took me about 60 hours.

Just the back door on CarnEvil weighs about 40 pounds. If the flyer is correct (and it felt every bit of it) this thing weighs 500 lbs.

Im not 100% sure. I would love a Joust 2 (I know, good luck), Galaga, Ms. Pacman, Dig Dug, DK, Mario Bros, Robotron, Tempest, Lunar Lander, Moon Patrol, Tempest, Simpsons, both TMNT, X-Men, Tapper... Like pinball, I kinda want them all. Sadly I dont have the room or money for an entire arcade. I would not be opposed to a multicade, but it would also be nice to have a few originals as well. Joust 2 is almost certainly a pipe dream, but one can dream right?
