Wow! These look brand new.

Quoted from altan:

Ohh! I like this thread. This is because I think pins and vids go together great. A gameroom with both is better than the sum of the two, IMHO.
I just finished fixing the Amplifone deflection board in my Atari Star Wars. That was after some initial repair attempts failing!
I currently have (in no particular order):
Atari Area 51 Site 4
Atari Asteroids Deluxe
Atari Marble Madness
Atari Star Wars
Atari Tempest Cocktail
Atari RoadBlasters (kit for system 1, swap out with Marble Madness)
Sega Daytona 2
(Check out http://www.aaarpinball.com for info on all of these... I recently did a restore on the Tempest cocktail)
And now some random pics...

Gorgeous games here. Its funny how the "Monster" Gun doesn't actually have any monsters at all. The flyer is a straight up ripoff of Disney's Sleeping Beauty dragon too. Thats a very RARE bird and worth a pretty penny.

Quoted from ZNET:

The arcade games currently in my gameroom are all electromechanicals. They are as follows:
1) Kasco Ninja Gun (late 1970s). One minute, unlimited shots, to kill ninja warriors, including holographic ninjas during daylight and at sunset.
2) Sega Gun Fight (1969/70). Mannequin gunfighter puppets and cactus collapse when shot.
3) Sega Monster Gun (1972). I have 2 Youtube videos posted of this fun nylon pellet projectile shooter game. Only two examples of this game are known to exist. Here's a link:
» YouTube video
4) Keeney Deluxe Texas Leaguer (1940s)
5) Chicago Coin Basketball Champ (1947). For sale, by the way. I have the cabinet stencils.
6) Genco Two Player "Super" Basketball (1954)

Thanks but the madness is coming to a close soon, i'm winding down my operation.

Wow! Used to think you might have a pinball problem. Still believe in the need for an intervention ... but maybe the pins and vids can be combined into one big event. Sheesh....thought I had issues. :extremely jealous:

why no Defender or Stargate or Zazzon in the list ?

#263 9 years ago

...of course, the RoadBlasters is primo too.

#264 9 years ago

Short answer. I can't have everything

I started with rarer titles, from there I've worked my way back to more common stuff like those you mentioned. I may get them, we'll see.

too nice
aside from drooling to get Choplifter & RoadBlasters in the collection...

i've also been looking for find awesome representations of the arcade games that would match each of my pins that are based on 80's arcade games, such as:

Defender
Tron LE
Q*berts Quest
Space Invaders
Joust
Super Mario Bros
Mr & Mrs Pacman
Star Wars
...few others...

One day, it'd be great to see the arcades next to the pins.

#268 9 years ago

That would be very cool.

Add Inferno Arcade and Grand Lizard Pinball to the list.

Not sure how they related beyond the reptile similarity.

Hey Pac, excellent collection. Your games are so flawless, I was curious if they are restorations or reproductions. Are they the actual cabinet from the manufacturer or did you make and assemble the cabinets and the decals? I would think that this would be the only way to get a collection like this.....just curious. Looks amazing either way!

PacMan, can I do the honors???...

He's been doing this for years, some are repro cabs, some are original, seems by any means necessary to get the job done, so I think you're right. Pretty much the only way to have a collection like that. but almost everything has been brought back to original as possible, unless something needs to be done with out of the box thinking. Monitors:
The easy way? I install New/NOS CRTs in them when i can.
The not so easy way? Hose them down and clean them up, let dry outside in the sun for a day or 2.

There are many art/printing options.

thisoldgame.com
gameongrafix.com
phoenixarcade.com
arcadeoverlays.com
arcadeshop.com

And some pieces i print locally.

Yeah, i used to have stuff on KLOV but a few jealous a-wipes were constantly trolling me. When i told them to shove it i got banned. I yanked my pics because the Mods are D-Bags over there.

I believe they used a different rotary setup than most of the other games, so might not be an easy conversion. It's been years since I've played one, so hard to know what I'd think of it now, but I remember it being pretty fun.

It's an optical rotary stick, I believe. Rather than the Ikari style positional snap.

We had one in the Aladdin's Castle I worked at. It's a fine game.
