Quoted from ZNET:

The official launch is this Monday, April 13th.
The film's vibe is sort of MTV meets PBS. The music is going to be heavily influenced by the eighties, although not exclusively.
Fun times. Thank you for your support!
Bruce

Still not showing live on Kickstarter. Did you delay the launch?

Yes. The launch has been delayed to take advantage of some last-minute developments which enhance the project's reach. However, I expect the launch to occur very soon. Thanks for inquiring and for your support.

Maybe it's the sign of a good game, but that one completely pisses me off every time I play it. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard, but no matter what I do I die over and over from cheap shots and stupidity. Seeing it in your photo now is raising my blood pressure

Yes! This!

I immediately thought, “that looks really nice, wait a sec, I suck at that game!”

Very nice.
It’s actually quite tuff to find a nice dedicated Ghosts n Goblins.
Great game for sure.

- Evans' Ten Strike, about 1949
- Chicago Coin Basketball Champ, 1947

Against popular belief (many people mix up the 2nd and 3rd generation), the Ten Strike is actually a 3rd generation model. It's the last type that H. C. Evans produced before selling the rights for the game to Williams and going out of business in 1955.

Fandamntastic. Nuff said, can't say no more.

Thank you! I wholeheartedly agree.

I got damn lucky with these two. Never thought I'd own pieces like them.

For real, I've been looking for 10+ years. The nice bonus with this one is the monitor, boards and cabinet all have matching serial #'s. I'm not normally into that, but it is cool on a hard to get dedicated game.

Just picked up a donkey Kong a week ago. Was posted on Facebook for 500$. Got a call from a local collector and I jumped on it. I have done a couple videos on the restoration so far. Check out gumby510 on YouTube. It’s mostly me rambling on and doing little update videos on what I have been working on. Nothing special or high tech intros just a babbling fool who loves to fix arcade and pinball machines.

Quoted from Malenko:

no dedicated run button? How do you run in combo with a string that starts with HP or LP?

That big blue just had umk3 as test.
Turned it back into a Wrestlemania.

Quoted from Malenko:

usually those get put in MK cabs, not NBA Jam / NFL Blitz ones

This was how I got it in an NBA JAM cabinet and I dig it!

It's far from perfect, and it's just an iCade 60 in 1, but it was a challenging project for me and it turned out okay!

Are there any companies that repair Xbox one s controllers?
My nephew is staying with me during the pandemic and brought his Xbox one s which is only 4 months old, but the controller is out of warranty.
I apologize if this is the wrong thread for this.

I’d totally do a four player cocktail version! I love the steering on this and Super sprint, blaze the wheel, catch it, send back the other way

#2823 3 years ago

Super sprint, champion sprint, definitely cool 4 players

Have never seen an upright before. Only the four player version.

I love those Taito cabs, and Qix is the best one of the bunch, even if Jungle Hunt/King is the most common

Pssst - Frontline

I have Qix and Frontline. The Frontline is the one restored by TNT Amusements and featured in their video.

Love tose Taito spinner games! Still need to acquire a Wild Western (wink wink) to complete the trilogy

I have a soft spot of those Taito games of that era. Eventually I want to own all the early '80s Taito oeuvre; I have most parts and pieces of the heavy hitters: Kram, Space Dungeon and Electric YoYo. But still need games like Elevator Action, Lock and Chase (need cab mostly), Stratovox et.al.

Can you buy a controller cheaper than looking to have one fixed?

I was surprised to find out that Nintendo had a similar "Spinner" on Sheriff (Exidy Bandidto) back in 1979.

I built this thing...

2 mame computers with hyperspin setups plus a kvm hooked to a button.

The kvm button is pressed and both players become combined to have the same image on each screen, and become player 1 and player 2 on the same pc.

Press the button again and both players have independent setups to choose their own game.

A proper Geometry Wars arcade cabinet with sick art and cool lighting accents would be sweet.

Are your sticks on that thing analog?

I have a few originals, all still running tube monitors. I also setup a RetroPie (on a Pi 3) with an X-arcade Tankstick that has hundreds of the best games of the 80's/90's including laser disc games like Dragons Lair.
