Thanks! Sure, send me a pm. This side art is epic!
Quoted from Junkhauler:Speed Rumbler!!!! Never seen one that nice....
I have one in a old Tatio cab with no side art.
That game blew me out as a kid... so cool.
U did a fine job on that restore Pacman!
How about sending me some side art
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:Noting like having Pacman post to remind me how crappy my games are
LOL
Chris
I have several arcades and like to swap them out once in awhile just to keep the lineup fresh. That being said, I have 4 that I would never part with. Tapper, Wacko, Qbert, Galaga and Tron. Opps, I guess I have 5 I would never part with.
Quoted from DeeGor:Thanks. These were some of favorites when I was younger. Spy Hunter is great, but it currently has an issue with hum coming from the speakers that I'm troubleshooting through. Apparently that's a common issue with Midway games of this Era when using a switching power supply.
Quoted from DeeGor:Yeah, I've tried that and a few other things. None of the fixes I found worked for me. I managed to eliminate 80% of the noise by removing the 12v bulbs and replacing them with LEDs. It's not a fix, but a workaround that I can live with.
I just got a spy hunter , sound hum is low and high pitch and is driving me crazy. Any help you guys have here is most appreciated
I’ll try the cap trick out, maybe that will help

I ended eliminating all of the hum from Spy Hunter by finding an original non-working power supply, then bought a rebuild kit for it and fixed it up. it's pretty simple to do it you have a decent desoldering iron.
I tired nearly every trick people recommended and none of it worked with the exception of pulling all the bulbs out of the game. With the original power supply I can have all the bulbs / LEDs in there and it's super quiet.

The question is how much risk you want to take with your pcb. Linear power supplies can fail high. When they do, they will cook your pcb. Switching power supplies tend to fail to 0v. So if you don't mind risking $500-$800+ mcr pcbs, then stick with the linear.

The hum on my particular machine was so loud, that I never wanted to turn the game on. I ended up replacing all the components that typically go bad, and this game is in a home setting where the number of hours it is on is nothing compared to what these games were doing on route. I think I'm comfortable with the risk.

Oh nice, I just watched your video breakdown of it this weekend, great job.

Thank you! I've made some tweaks and have more audio work to do before it's really done. I want to swap some quotes out and make an alternate version where the swearing is bleeped out.

There are two linked at a semi local arcade but I haven’t played it yet, looks nuts.

Oh man I've played that game. Mind bending fun. You lucky dog.
I need a new lower control base for Paperboy handlebars, does anyone know where to get one? I found only one site that has them-arcadefixit.com. Any others?
Picked up a really nice Atari Black Widow (Gravitar conversion) to add to the video game lineup. I pumped so much money in this machine back in the day and hadn't played one for over 30 years! Was happy to find this locally.

Wow, that space could hold twice that many machines and still have room for 75 people.
I got a few games in my collection but am looking to unload them for another pin. PM me if interested.

Kinda’ reminds me of Jpops row of Magic Girl and Raza cabs. But I bet these get finished.

Ha! Yeah and they'll actually be playable.

I haven't seen PACMAN put together any raspberry pi crap, so I would imagine that they will all contain original boards and tube monitors
I am glad this thread exists...awesome.
Real Ghostbusters
TMNT
TMNT - Turtles in Time
Terminator 2
Aliens
Indiana Jones Temple of Doom
Aliens was the first machine I ever had and that led to TMNT, and then Ghostbusters pinball and hence why I'm now here. I couldn't believe my buddy found a Real Ghostbusters (not a great game, but rare and still awesome). The T2 machine is all original artwork.

Hey my buddy ha a T2 but one of the guns quit working. It "was" a blast to play.
Quoted from DeeGor:Picked up one of these recently. It's a blast to play.

Very cool, would dig this and a Virtual On duo cab.
Quoted from sunnRAT:Picked up a Burgertime in a sweet deal from a friend.
