Damn that Big Blue looks nice!
I've been finalizing trade details to finally bring a Slither into the collection. It's complete and solid, but the sides need to be repainted badly. I worked an Elevator Action (brown Taito cab conversion) into the mix as well. It's going to be a good Christmas this year.

pinball smith, get that slither very rare and decent gameplay!

I most certainly will. It's beat to hell and the boards might need to be serviced, but it's complete. A good candidate for my winter restore project.
question for all arcade owners. I've got an NOS joust marquee which has what appears to be a protective masking tape on both sides.
seeing as this is now 30+ years old, I don't want to ruin the marquee, so what would be the best solvent to safely remove the masking tape (and its adhesive) from the marquee?

heat, hair dryer on lowest heat till it starts to peel off and carefully. I wouldn't recommend chemical, it will eat the ink on the back side.
I'll try the hair dryer to remove the masking tape, but that's just going to leave a sticky mess. what about all of that? goo gone? (not goof off which is nasty stuff and very aggressive)

its so old I cant see it leaving a lot of film. I had many nos cpos, marquees and bezels and had no issues.
Trade is finalized and should be taking place sometime next week if our schedules are clear. I also wanted to mention that Rich from This Old Game satisfied my request to bring Slither stencils to the market. They're missing the GDI logo because that was sticker applied over the artwork. Other than the sticker, which is being worked on at the moment, you can find the stencils here:

Any advice on what's a good shooting game to get if you only had room for one
We love revolution x at my house, but would really love to have the new terminator game. Police trainer is great fun too
Quoted from Buzz:
Would a clean looking police trainer 2 for 550 be a good deal. Thank you for the help
Maybe , I'd spend 550 on a nice one, but I'm not in a good location to haggle

Turkey Shoot. Probably not the type of shooting game you're looking for, but it's a great game. Fun to play and funny too.

One of a kind Super Mario Bros 3
Spent a year chasing my tail on the decisions for the graphics. Uses a CRT and an original NES. Not exactly coin op, but looks, plays and sounds amazing

I love seeing oddball games. Is that a Pac-Man clone? Or what is that racing game that runs on a Pac-man like grid?

pacman, shooter like game. instead of eating dots you have to shoot them.

Anyone get arcade games for christmas?
I got a PC engine console with a turbo Everdrive
I plan on putting it in a multi boot arcade I'm designing to run an NES and PC engine both with everdrives, and switch Mario bros arcade board in, most likely in a Mario bros widebody... Fully reversible, no hacks
So awesome! Hope it doesn't give anyone a seizure
