I purchased a MM with the overlay. It's already scratched up with only a few hundred games on it. I've polished it with nova and it's better. But wouldn't recommend these. It's like the upper Playfield say on a WPT. No matter how much you try polish it it never looks new again

What if the polycorbonate and the balls get waxed before play?

I have the overlay on my wh2o and it works and looks great. Use Novus 1 every so often on the plastic and clean the balls every so often. You can buy three plastic overlays for the cost of a clearcoat.
