I don't get it either. I do have an issue on mine where the first game after I turn the game on the bigfoot shot will act the way you describe.. But it begins working correctly on the next game, more or less..

This game is notorious for that credit dot, because that bigfoot canyon is very rarely activated on most machines. Mine will have it for quite some time until I play a game and shoot for that mode on purpose...
