Hello all, just started having an issue with the bigfoot diverter. When shooting bigfoots bluff, sometimes bigfoot will let a ball get past him because he didnt react fast enough. It is important to note that he ALWAYS attempts to divert the ball but lately hes been a split second too slow and again, results in a ball getting past him which really screws up/confuses the game. I also want to note the the strength of the coil seems fine. The coil is snapping the diverter like it should (not sluggish).

I saw it happen once, then I didn't see it for another 100 shots up that ramp. Then it happened again, and now it will happen once a game. Immediately I would think its the opto on that ramp but its obviously seeing the ball go by because the game always makes an attempt to close the gate. Maybe the coil assembly needs to be rebuilt?

Unfortunately I think im gonna really have to get into that upper playfield to troubleshoot this but was hoping you guys might know what could cause this late reaction.

Thanks!

Check the 2nd switch the ball travels under on the upper right ramp.
You will need to remove the back mountain.
This switch is probably loose or broken from the ramp or might not work.

Bigfoot getting slow in his old age?

Check around his muzzle; is he getting any grey there?

The wires were coming off at the wire gate switch (first of two switches on that ramp). Resoldered and now Bigfoot is back and meaner than ever! Thanks guys
