I think I might have a "tweener" game...one with features of both games A & B but I need to inspect and get back with you.

Quoted from knockerlover:Alien A - PA0113 (obviously the newest w/ the pinball brothers boards, and the updated xeno boards/motor)
Alien B - PA0028
Alien C - PA0025
So I definitely have a hybrid compared to your A,B&C. According to Heighway my game was "production game #20".
Like your game A it has:
The "open" PC with plexiglass cover
DVI connected playfield screen
The IO boards are all blue
A sticker on the back indicating that it's an SE with a serial number
Unlike your game A mine has:
All "Heighway" labeled main boards
The main trunk runs up the middle (vs right side)
Older single Xenomorph board
So how many variations are there?

edit...It says PA0058 on the bottom of the playfield
Quoted from brett:Mine is exactly like yours. Do you have the January 2018 updated code?
Yes I do.
Quoted from billsfanmd:Maybe its just me but it would bug me if I was building something with wrong, missing, bad parts and I knew they were going out the door. I always liked how Williams games had an "inspected by" sticker on them
My Alien has an "inspected by" sticker on the bottom of the playfield.
Quoted from Ballypinball:Yes most I have seen the damage is outside the cliffy, will see f he can make some extra long ones
Played mine for a couple months before the Cliffy came out...zero damage. Now that the Cliffy is in place I expect it to remain perfect indefinitely.
Quoted from knockerlover:astropin do you have the updated scoop with the plastic add on?
Nope...but mine never shot it out so hard that it hit the edge of the scoop.
Thanks everyone who has sent me the update! 1.2 is up and running. First thing I noticed was a lot more magnet action!
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:Can someone with version 1.2 send a link please?
Done
Quoted from mavantix:I'm hoping he's installing stronger coils in the flippers and eject mechs, and if so would be excited to know the results. I feel like factory ones are weak.
Really? Sometimes I feel like mine are too hard. More than enough power to make every shot and sometimes it looks like a little too much power.
Quoted from knockerlover:If you have the latest game code installed, go into the test menu, select I/O boards, you will need to go into each I/O board individually and select update.
I do not recall going into each board individually...nor do I even recall that being an option. I ran the I/O board update and it's telling me they are all up to date.
Quoted from iceman44:To update to 1.2 doesn't Ferret say it has to be on 1.0 at a minimum?
I believe so. All LE's shipped with at least 1.0. SE's you might have to check.
Quoted from Ballypinball:yes you do need to update the io boards to .09 each
I did...but not one at a time. It updated all of them.
