Have any of the games later than say 2005 or 2006 have any Easter eggs in them? I always has a lot of fun pointing them out to friends and my daughter, what's a dad for after all, we must share our useless knowledge with our brood.

But I cant remember any of the more recent games having any in them. People have mentioned TWD and how it has one, but meh, I don't really call that an egg.

Anyone have examples of any new ones?

    Thanks

I would be pretty mad if a game had easter eggs and incomplete code.

Yeah, playfield inserts and game modes seem to be enough of a challenge

I found an Easter egg from the year before at my brothers house one year during the hunt. Does that count?
    (true story).

That's stinky. =), to me the Easter eggs just made the game a bit more fun, I agree I would not want a programmer to waste tons of time, when he could be writing new code, but a lot the eggs really don't take that much time to add in.

    They make me disproportionately happy

Young girls picked them every one.

It was stuck in the chain link fence between the ivy. Same place I hid it the year before. Surprised the kids never found it. It was a colorful egg.

Cows&Easter Eggs doesn't show much, but it does look like there's a cow in Metallica. 2005 was the most recent year noted for known flipper codes. It's also entirely possible that there are ones out there that people don't know about yet!
