Looks like the bulb broke.

I have had plastics break, rubbers come off or break, but have never broken a bulb.

There was a lamp that would break on Revenge from Mars. I think I put a lamp condom on it.

Bulbs pop out of their sockets, but never seen one just break.

Your blown lamp reminds me of when I changed the oil in my car many years ago.

After I had changed the oil I left the hood up and went to start the engine to check for leaks. Turned the key to start and heard a LOUD bang. Car didn't crank. Got out of the car and found black chunks of stuff all over the garage floor. Looked under the hood and my battery was mostly gone.. Disintegrated. Figured out what all the black stuff was....and washed up all the battery acid everywhere.

I think probably a bulb came loose and was broken by pinball. Have had a few wedge come loose, but never a bayonet
