Never mind - found it.
Quoted from pinballplusMN:I ordered 10. great price. thanks for heads up!
I also got 10. I have no idea why. I guess at $7 each shipped they are still cheaper than buying new solder tips.
Good looking out; gratis!

We never know when these things disappear. The B&D electric screwdrivers we use were discontinued out of nowhere with a shitty replacement model.
These are def my favorite cheapie soldering irons. Quality made and the LEDs are a nice touch.
I have a nice Hakko for board work but for quick coil/switch jobs it's easier to just use these things.

Yeah, it's a pain dragging a station with a base into the belly of a game. I'm picking up an order at Menard's after work. Gonna grab one or 2 of these while I'm there.

You’re probably also that old fart I get stuck behind at Harbor Freight with a handful of coupons. Buying cheap shit you’ll never use. Aarggh!
That's a great price, but 40 watts and 900 degrees is too much for most pinball work. 25 watt Weller iron gets to 750 degrees, which is plenty. That 40 watt iron will eat tips, so if you ordered one, order replacement tips too. I suppose you can throw them away at that price, but be careful about overheating components.

Totally too hot for board work, but soldering coil lugs and switch contacts and lamp sockets will be fine. That's why I grabbed a couple. Like Levi said, it's literally cheaper than buying tips and it comes with 3.
Just got my three! Thank you all for posting this!
It's a bit weird to me about the rebate thing. It's like Fry's that had the rebates and the "we know you'll never fill out the form to get it" part!

You're exactly right on the rebate thing. Menard's has been doing it for years now. I'm pretty good about sending them in. Never had an issue getting them in the mail.
