My teenage bedroom walls were covered with posters, album sleeves and magazine covers. Basically anything that seemed cool at the time got scotch taped to the wall. Guess “teen caves” were just a precursor to our man caves of today.

I would love to see what art work (use that term loosely) from back in the day that made it onto your walls?

Here are just a few of my favorites

With more than twelve million copies sold, it is considered the best-selling poster to date and is said to be a modern icon and a symbol of the late 1970s. I was a junior in college in 1976. Every other dorm room had one.

Can't find my actual poster from the late 80's, but at the time I was into planes and rockets. Had a large poster with the front view of a B-1 Bomber in the brown/tan camo paint scheme coming down the runway for takeoff. Unfortunately, it didn't receive the wife's approval when we got married and got our first place together (it wasn't the only thing I owned that didn't make the cut). On the plus side, since all those years ago she did let me buy 3 pinball machines thus far.

These are the posters I had on my walls in middle school. By high school I hung my own stuff. In college, I had a Bacardi Rum poster to memorialize my freshman roommate drinking a bottle of it and throwing up at the door, trapping us in the room.

Yeah, that Farrah poster was still very popular well into the 80s. The only thing I remember seeing more of in the mid 80s was the one of Heather Thomas in the hot pink bikini, that was already posted on here. Both are two of my all time favorites.

In the late 80's my older brother and I shared a bedroom and our whole room was covered with the free posters you got in the Nintendo Power magazines. Mario, Zelda, Mega Man, Metroid, Punch Out...you name it. We were hardcore Nintendo fans and till this day I still am.
