Chesterfield starts up again next Monday at 7:30pm. Great place, 50 pins and a bar = hell yeah. Very fun and much more friendly league, you will like it I think. Where else could you have won one of three only worldwide Tanya Harding vs Nancy Karrigan themed pinball trophys, lmfao! Nowhere else I say.

We will have some random drawings for all who attend.

• Each person will get 2 tries per machine to qualify within the qualifying time period. Qualifying will happen on 3 different machines.
• $1 entry fee plus coin drop
• We will start recording scores at 1:00 pm.
• Qualifying will end around 5:15 pm.
• A players TWO best scores will be used. These scores must be recorded/validated in person by one of the tournament directors. The top score will receive 100 points, next score is 97 then, 95,94,93,etc.
• Top 8 players with the highest point total will play in finals. Finals will be a ladder format with 1 person getting eliminated out per round until we are down to our final 4. The final group of 4 will play 1 game. Top score wins it!

I will be hosting a private tournament on June 30th and we still have room for a few more people.

Date: Sunday, June 2nd. Qualifying begins at 11:00 and will end at 2:30 or later. A player can put up qualifying scores anytime during that period. In other words, you don’t have to be there right at the start, although that will allow the player more time to qualify.

Fee: One time $6 entry plus normal coin drop ($1 from the fee goes to the IFPA the rest gets paid out to the players.)

Format: Best game unlimited qualifying on 4 of 6 machines. Play the machines as much as time allows during the qualifying period. Only the players 2 best scores count. When qualifying is over the top 8 or half (whichever is less) will make it into the A-division finals. The next 4 players not ranked in the top 1000 WPPR are placed into the B-division.

Finals: One 4-player game on a machine selected by the top seed. Top two scores advance. When four players remain, top seed picks final game, final scores will determine placement.

I recommend the iscored app for you to display the scores on a big screen. Looks like a fun place to go and try out. Good luck with your new business and I hope it succeeds for many years.

Thanks, I am just the tech at the place. The owner is not a pinhead so I am spreading the word to the pinball community about this. I am not sure the iscore app can replace a 6 foot chalkboard display.

That app easily beats a 6ft chalk board. You can have multiple TVs or monitors displaying more then one high score for each game. Has sweet over lays and themes and fonts for each game on the list. Once you see it you'll understand.

I'm happy to announce that ypsilanti will now have it's own IFPA pinball tournaments. In depot town at sticks above Aubrey's. As of now we are doing the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, excluding holidays, starting at 5pm. We will start with 8 rounds of Group Matchplay, no finals. It will be run similar to how I run Sundays at Pete's. 1$ for IFPA Fee and coin drop. If you know any pinheads in ypsi please pass the word to them. Players of all skill welcome. This place has amazing food so come hungry, they also have a full service bar so bring a DD. We will start in August on the second Monday. Hope to see you all there.

We will be having our Unofficial Launch Party for the Beatles this Sunday at Pinball Pete's. We will have our normal group Matchplay with Finals for top 4 on The Beatles with the winner taking home the Launch Party Trophy. Having a Tournament at my house in West Bloomfield this Saturday. IFPA points for all who participate. Their will be an A and B Division. All games set to Freeplay. Estimated at least $400 for first. Entry fee is $36 but that’s includes food, snacks, etc.

Join us for an IFPA sanctioned, full TGP, 4 hour Flip Frenzy (Pinball, Pinball, Pinball) tournament, Thursday., September 29th at 10AM at the Ann Arbor VFW Pinball Museum. Doors open at 9:15 AM. Please be onsite and registered no later than 9:45. There will be about a 30-45 minute break after 2 hours for lunch. Hot dogs will be provided.

Top 16 (or less depending on number of participants) with best win-loss differential make playoffs. Significant ties broken in 1 game playoff on random game, random order. Insignificant ties are broken by fewest losses. Top seed picks bank of games or order. Playoffs will be PAPA format on 3 games (4-2-1-0 scoring). The top 2 from each group will advance to the next round.

Cost $51 USD and all games will be on Freeplay (no quarters needed).
