Quoted from Eskaybee:Does it start the download then just go idle? Or can you not even start the download?
If you have an anti virus program, try disabling it for the download. If you know you’ve gone on a VPN network anytime recently, reboot your machine. Try those, if not - don’t know.
Download starts then says can’t download. Only JP file, DP and Avengers both went fine
Got the update downloaded is it a coincidence that my raptor pen stopped working. The motor won’t engage and open the door and the metal pin won’t come up when I manually put the ball in
Quoted from Wildbill327:Double check you didn’t accidentally download pro code.
Yes I did ughhh! Thank you kind sir!
On T-Rex multi ball the Dino won’t catch the ball anymore, cleaned Optos magnet isn’t firing anything else I can do
Quoted from Eskaybee:Does it grab in other modes and/or is it seem like it’s just an inconsistent and sporadic on grabs? Maybe with lots of ball deflects off the T-REX face? Or does it seem like something is actually wrong with the mech or sensors?
I’ve been battling this since day1. It seems a pristine shot needs to be made to make it in the T-REX, but even then sometimes the smallest ball hop occurs at the last second and causes a bouncing rejection. That said, I was at about 7.2 deg pitch, I brought it down to 7 deg, and then again and at about 6.9 deg now. It seems way better now. I also have been playing with different bias settings which can be found at the end of the feature adjustments. Mainly playing with middle bias. I’ve also played with the right flipper power.
All in all, the biggest adjustment that seems to help is lowering the pitch some (6.9’ish). Another thing I read is removing the spacers from the ball deflector / ramp protector entering the left ramp, I’ve done that too and it seems to help but might be psychological.
The next thing I may toy with is the actual mech and adjustments behind the T-REX. But I’m happy with where things settled for the time being.
Good luck! Let us know if you find any discoveries or get it working.
Seems to only be on T-Rex multi ball. I loosened the bolts in back and adjusted his lower jaw, aligned him dead center on the ramp. Used a Qtip and windex and cleaned the optical sensors. Took the spacers out of the front plastic cover.
Quoted from Deyanks98:Yeah I see it's in the middle so I might move it down to the bottom one, but I did that on my Iron Maiden and haven't really noticed much of a difference. Slings just seem to throw the ball that way a lot if they hit the right one near the center of it.
turn the power down on the slings a bit
