Quoted from MrMikeman:

I beg to agree.

Less light. Always a strong argument.

Quoted from yzfguy:

I don't get how a craft store plastic toy is now a "mod".

I don’t get why you feel like you need to make that comment.

Quoted from seenev:

I've had the game over a year and only just now got to the visitor's center for the first time... And it was on ball 1. Pinball is strange sometimes.

Huge! I’m 3 months in and feel like I’m 9 from everything aligning to get to visitors center, but that’s why I love this game - and pinball.

Congrats! What was your score?

Right flipper is getting stuck in the up position. A quick tap of the button seems to fix it but it’s getting worse - before I was noticing it up for a split second, but now it’s got to be shook loose. A few weeks ago I replaced the coil sleeve and coil stop, but this issue started happening many games after that.

I played the JP home pin. Felt pretty much like a real pinball machine, also lots of similar features in simplistic form. The screen size was a mistake tho. I think they could have gone an inch or two more and it would still have felt smaller but not crazy small.

I’d def say it’s a real pinball machine - just not sure it makes sense for the price for anyone who’s ever owned a modern machine. Might as well pay more for a full experience and rule set.

The paper sleeve around the coil inside my trex mouth has come off. Should I take the time to open this up and reapply, or just pull it out?

I guess ill ask stern? Didn’t realize I’d stump the thread.

Thx all. Good to have a few perspectives. Guess it wouldn’t hurt to take it apart? Kind of worried about it going back together right. Def don’t want this part changing behavior.

#8381 2 years ago

Well that does it for me - leaving as is.

Quoted from MrMikeman:

Got my insider connected kit today. I see now how they can track code reversion. Part of the install is installing an additional 32GB micro SD as additional memory for the CPU board. Didn't even realize the board had a microSD slot.
I know I'm in the minority here but personally I found the movie code ok but it certainly didn't "make the game" for me. I'm a pinball player not a noob that needs to link the theme with something familiar. I didn't like most of the movie callouts anyway. While they were funny/good ones from the movie they have nothing to do with the actual game play on the pinball so no big loss.
I didn't mind losing the movie code for IC.

So if you like the movie code you are a noob and not a pinball player. Got it.

Quoted from Phatchit:

hey guys im sure this has been addressed but a customer has a premium and all of a sudden the trex is LOUD . It sounds like the gear box . The trex works fine but i think it might be on its way out . is this a thing with this game . thinking of asking stern to send me a new gear box.

Is their glass off? Did they turn the sound down? Serious questions if it’s coming from a customer. I’ve found myself alarmed of the sound a few times only to realize that thing actually is kind of loud when things aren’t drowning it out like normal.

Anyone up for sharing some pics of a close up of this Barbasol mod install? Got this amazing (no longer in production - thx Robby) mod off a friend and it was pretty mangled - I think a previous owner was running another mod power off the wires. Trying to figure out where these 2 wires go. I assume into the plastic connector but I want to be certain!
