Quoted from BallyKISS1978:

Deposit only holds your spot with the distributor unfortunately. I had to pay the $500 increase for Elvira when I got it this year. They also increased the price on EHOH another $700 I believe. So at $9200 now. I paid $8500. It’s a joke they are jacking the prices this high so fast. Cash grab only. Don’t tell me production cost have gone up. Lumber is down and prices of other things are down also.

That’s pretty shady business practices. When I buy a game, my distro sends me an invoice with the total amount. I either pay a deposit or I pay in full. They don’t come back to me when the game is about to ship and say sorry, we added $x dollars to your invoice. Maybe it’s different for games not in production, but if that’s the case, people should not be asked for deposits unless or until the price is firm.

On your point re prices of materials, they have not gone down, hardly, almost everything is rising, including the cost of labor. Lumber dropping is pretty meaningless. Wire, electronics including chips, even things like a shooter rod, all are in shorter supply and/or have seen price increases. While nobody likes price increases, it’s inevitable right now and stern has little choice. It’s already pretty clear they can’t keep up with demand.

Quoted from Mr_Tantrum:

This is common on most all stock pinball machines. Also, photos are deceiving because of automatic exposure which typically allows more light in the lens that what the actual environment is. If you want to brighten things up you really have two options: Pinstadium lighting or you can mount spotlights on the upper bolt of the slings and position them how you like.
I've posted this before, but here is my JP stock on left and with Pinstadium at 50% brightness on right (if you look closely even the left pic is a little over exposed). As you can see the photos were taken in a dark room with no ambient lighting.

Here's my game with just a warm white trough light and half size (10") backboard light. No camera tricks. It's a little dark in the middle of the playfield, but not bad at all. could add one spotlight and it would be lit entirely. pic was taken in a dark room so no everhead lighting.

Quoted from FightCave:

My right pop bumper goes off by itself during gameplay. Is there a quick fix?

Adjust the switch blade underneath the playfield,.
gap is too tight.

Quoted from gregpinball:

As this is my first post my apologies if this question has been already covered or if I am posting in the wrong spot.
I am trying to remove the hinge on right side of my JP Premium so that I can send it out for powder coating (LE Green). But, I can't see how to get to the second bolt. Do I remove the screws on the metal box? Is there a trick? Thanks, Greg
[quoted image][quoted image]

Yes, remove that cover to access the hinge nuts. The cover is held on with three screws, easy off.

Quoted from CypherPinball:

Hi Everyone,
New to the club. Just got a NIB JP Premium. We are having an issue with the trex head, it will not align with the ramp and open its mouth for a trex shot. Even when it clearly says on screen to shoot the mouth. Everything seems ok in diagnostics. No issues from what I can tell. Thrashes and moves around during gameplay as well. But, when it comes time to shoot the mouth it doesn't quite align with the ramp. It's very close, but not quite. And doesn't try to open its mouth. Though if it did it's too for over to actually open with out hitting the side of the ramp.
We are very new to JP, literally was delivered today. Any help on where to begin troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.

You can adjust the trex in the device settings menu. Sounds like it just needs to be moved over just a little, which the settings allow you to do.
