FedEx called me this morning to inform me that my scheduled 11:00 to 3:00 delivery would not be happening due to flooding. They are shutting down freight operations in Houston for the day. ☹️
#242 delivered and set up in Dickinson, TX today! It was scheduled for a Thursday delivery last week but was delayed due to flooding in Houston. Thankfully it arrived in perfect condition!

How do I set it to free play? I am not seeing an obvious setting for this in the menu?
Quoted from jeffgoldstein2:Does the helicopter blade spin on its own or from the photos it looks like it’s just like a spinner which the ball needs to make contact with the blade to make it to spin?
I swear from the original promotional video I had thought that it’s spinned without the ball having to make contact with it.
It only spins when the ball hits it.
Quoted from JMK:Also do your LEs have the new installed pf with No art around the sling shot posts?
Game looks amazingly fun and just so close to pulling the trigger.
Thanks for any clarifications.
My machine is #242 and the artwork is relieved around the posts. No observable playfield issues here.

Have you confirmed this on Jurassic Park? When I look under the “adjust” settings none of the setting in the 30s have any mention of free play.
JMK - I pressed on it when I unpacked the game and it seemed fine. I have only played a dozen games but it seem secure to me.
Quoted from evh347:Here's how you set a Stern game to FREE PLAY:
I actuall watched that video before posting here. Still cant figure it out.
Quoted from evh347:Service Menu>ADJ>S.P.I. (standard adjustments)>scroll to #39 and edit to YES.....then exit out.
Thanks! I must have been in adifferent menu.
Quoted from hawkmoon77:Got my LE tonight! Overall, pretty good. It is unfortunately missing some parts on the playfield. That's a bit disappointing. I need to call Stern tomorrow.
What is missing?
Amazon has the PSW10 subwoofer on sale for $100. I just ordered me one.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002KVQBA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Li1KDb464Y6ZC
Quoted from GamerRick:It is? Okay I haven’t seen it in the photos of the machines. Must have missed it. Don’t have mine yet lol.
That is just the stock raptor for the LE. I added the raptor pin mod.
Quoted from catchlight:Did this mod work right out of the box for the LE's? I seem to remember some issues with the Pro vs the LE.
It was shipped as a mod for the LE but there was a minor issue with there not being clearance for one of the screws, I just melted away some material with a soldering iron and it worked great.
IMG_2044 (resized).jpgQuoted from delt31:Speaking of mods, I'm surprised I'm not seeing more people take off that TERRIBLE jeep. First thing I do is replace that.
I would take off the terrible Jeep but it is also plastered on my backglass and in the videos. I want them to all look the same.
Quoted from Peanuts:The Pinball Universe ones are neat, I use them.
[quoted image]
Would these work with a JJP WOZ? I find there to be almost no clearance between the playfield and cabinet walls. I have already screwed up a set of decals and don't want to do that again.
Quoted from RebelGuitars:Installed the tower, fence and ramp sign mods from Mezel. So much nicer looking than the factory plastics.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Where did you get the green rubbers for the flippers? What size and material did you get. My stock ones are already looking rough!
IMG_2123 (resized).jpgQuoted from pingod:Anyone else play Chaos multiball, get extra ball during that.
Drain down to one ball and both flippers died.
gave me my bonus and on to the extra ball.
Game played normal after that.
Side note, check all your posts and screws.
They were all loose on mine.
Game plays great, love it.[quoted image]
This happened to me this weekend. I gopt down to one ball (in he t-rex) wich was about to start a t-rex even and then all of a suddent everything goes dark and the floppers will not work and my last ball drained. I think it is a bug.
Quoted from timlah79:Has anyone who pre-ordered the amber rod from Little Shop of Games gotten shipping confirmation or received theirs? I've sent them 2 emails the past 2 weeks and they haven't responded.
I ordered the day JP2 was announced and have not heard anything. Hopefully they got some from Stern this first go around.
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Does anyone elses T Rex hit the left power line thing with its head at times?
Mine does as well. It didn’t when I first got it though.
Quoted from bemmett:Ya it looks great, I got the "LE style" with the added green.[quoted image]
I am a little slow. I have an LE and orderd a topper as well. Is the "LE Style" really a thing? If not how did you add the green?
Quoted from GamerRick:Yes there are two versions. They must have sent me the pro version because there is a screw right in the way of where it goes and they hollowed out spots for the screws but there was no hole for the screw so it will not go flush.
I just melted an extra hole in mine with a soldering iron.

And it's much easier than trying to redrill it. The right side sticks out when the notch is lined up with the ramp support. I see yours is like that too. Also, the right has an unnecessary cutout because the pro has a screw that the premium doesn't. I would have hoped Mezel would have tailored it better for the premium. I mean, that's kind of the benefit of 3d printing, right? I'm not a fan of poor fitting mods. I think Mezel might have settled on "good enough" for this one.
Mine fits and aligns perfectly with the one additional relief hole that I added. I notified Mezelmods when I noticed the issue and I would expect that they will be modifying the design to ensure a perfect fit out of the box without modding of the mod being required =).
Quoted from Royale-W-Cheese:What was the response?
"Thank you for the feedback- we did test this on the LE. Wondering how we missed that. Will check into the issue however."
Quoted from JMK:I previously posted that I updated to my LE to .95; and my settings show I’m still on 8 ohms and the sounds are the same on my example as before the update.
I’m a bit perplexed how some owners are now getting the altered 4 ohms while perhaps others are not (like myself). Could the update be that glitchy?
I did have the freeze/re-set off the missile shot- it will be nice to have that rectified and hopefully Stern can also address the sound issue for all owners in the next update.
Where in the setting can i check this? i just updated to .96 and the sound does not appear as good as before the update.
Quoted from timlah79:Any chance this was from Little Shop of Games? Still waiting on mine.
Yes, it was. As you can see from the invoice, the order was placed a long time ago. I am very grateful that they honored the purchase price and filled the order. Hopefully you will get yours soon as well.
I got my amber shooter rod installed and it looks great! Stern should be embarrassed with the instructions it ships with. It tells you to not remove two screws that’s are required to be removed and does not tell you where to attach the LED cable. It would have taken somebody 15 minutes to type up some instructions and include some pictures for helping people install this MOD. Thank goodness for Pinside. I was able to find a post in one of the JP2 threads that told me where to attach the cable (CN15 on the board to the left of the coin door).

Quoted from Pinball-NJA:How is the light show with it installed?
It is nice. It flashes. I will pay more attention when somebody else is playing next time.
Quoted from SkillShot:Is there a setting to activate the tilt topper for JP2 or once you plug it in it’s good?
It is always on (when the machine is on).
We took of the glass off tonight planning on moving the out lane posts down. The first thing I noticed was that there was a bunch of "gold dust" inside the cabinet. After further inspection I finally realized that the upper flipper coil stop had busted. Thankfully I had one on hand and did not find it hard to replace (first time for me to do this). The left out lane post was very easy to move but I never figured out how to remove the right one. It is threaded into the playfield and I could not remove it. Is there a trick or special tool to doing this without removing the plastic above?
IMG_4462 (resized).jpgIMG_4463 (resized).jpgQuoted from PeterG:Just remove the rubber form the post, then you can get the post out. There is a small carve out in the plastic. If it is hard to get it out. Try softly hammering it from below. Worked with mine.
We tried that. The post is threaded into my playfield and I can not unscrew it from the top with the tools I have.
Quoted from SimplePin:It would be interesting to see the inside of the coin door and how you mounted it. More pics and details please.
Thanks!

Quoted from Rat:Where did you get those apron cards from?
I don’t recall where the images came from but my husband had them printed by mpix.com in a really cool metallic finish. I think they look great.
