Quoted from Alamo_Pin:

Ordered (and paid for) my premium October 22. Still no game. For those of you that just received yours, do mind telling me how long you had to wait? I have bought two other Sterns from this distributor in the past, but all I keep hearing on this game is, “should be this week.” I’ve been told that since November.

Seems like with the release of Stranger Things the next run of Jurassic Park Premiums won't be re-run until February. So if the distro does not have it in stock, they are unlikely to get them until the Stranger Things Premiums are run.

From the video it looks like the head is not centered on the ramp. The ball seems to strike the right side of the head and rattle, loosing momentum or jumping up and hitting the roof of the mouth. The head also seems loose as it moves a lot when the ball strikes it. As for the ramp entrance rattle, those seem to be just missed ramp shots.

I started playing competitively in '16 and took until September of '19 until I raised my game enough and qualified. Now my wife... she played for about one month and earned one of the biggest mover spots! So there is always hope!

I think it's different for everyone, but for me doing your homework and learning optimal strategy was a one big portion. I did that through streams and playing pinball arcade on my phone, as well as talking things out with fellow players. In the meantime I was playing as much as I could. I too have games at home. During those sessions my focus was initially on basic flipper skills, starting basic with bounce passes, and such then moving on to more advanced things like drop catches. The next thing was just playing in tournaments to get used to the competitive aspect. Finally learning to slow down and focus on small tasks during a game. The biggest challenge for me playing at home is keeping the focus and discipline to not revert back to flipping away at ball needlessly.

Has anyone heard when the next batch of Premiums are going out? I ordered one through the Stern's rewards program, but seems like I just missed out on the last run. I assume it won't be until after TMNT Premiums but hoping for a hidden stash from the wearhouse!

Quoted from Utesichiban:

Do you think it is the PCB?
I was planning on buying a Elvira House of Horrors for the next Match/April run

Might want to check out the latest production that has been posted ( not official, so take it with a grain of salt). Looks like it won't be until Aug. I am on the list too, but didn't know if that changes anything for you.

I would actually remove the raptor gate cliffy. That is a case where I don't think you need it if you have the gate height adjusted properly.

In my opinion (take it for what it is) when adjusted properly, the clearance between the play field edge and the gate is so small that the ball can't really land on the wood edge and chew it up like a scoop or drop target.

Sounds like the game is not seeing the limit switch on the TREX. Make sure you didn't mess up where the cam makes contact with the switches. Or that the switches weren't accidentally disconnected.

Play on, the wire is insulated so you don't need to worry about a short. It is your preference based on appearance.
