Quoted from weaverj:

has anyone had an issue where 1 ball gets locked (highwire), it immediately will say ball 2 locked, then dump the only ball there onto the playfield while saying one more for multiball?
all the switches test fine. i thought maybe the 2nd switch is getting held down by the first ball, but that's not the case. either way, that wouldn't release the first ball.

I haven't had the issue but haven't had my machine for more than a few months either. I know those switches are really finicky so if you haven't already checked the switches with the balls try that. I'd be watching to see if it's bouncing back. Or simply one of the switches is flaky and is registering locked ball. I know many people replace them with the roller switches. Either way, bump for the veteran owners of the game that can offer some real help.

The right way is to get the Pinnovators kit. The not as good way but works is soldering/alligator clipped to the sub. I will say that having a PSW10 on CV sounds great.

Good call on the switches. They've seen better days anyway. "Your mother drives a dump truck!"

Quoted from weaverj:

do those backbox glare guards do much? this game is obviously worse than usual with the unique design.

It's the first machine I needed to get one for. Especially with the color DMD. Really helps.

Looks really good and the mirror blades go well with the playfield. Ironically you mentioned about your back up post and I snagged mine when putting my playfield back in!

Quoted from OlDirty:

I bought a new plastic set for my cirqus voltaire and got a little plastic from which i have no idea where it belongs to. Does anybody know?

It goes in the spring weld meet in Ringmaster’s neck. It has the notch for the magnet and flasher lamp wire.

Found a picture for mine from when I was doing disassembly.

Quoted from GPS:

Hey Fellas
Still working on my play field and had a quick question. Think innnow but prefer not to frick anything up. Want to replace as many gi lights as possible with play field out. It is my recollection that all play field lights that are gi are fed by yellow wiring and there is no diode present which is indicative of a controlled light. Sound about right?? Thank you

Correct regarding diodes. There’s sometimes other strings that may use other colors than yellow. Forget what common GI wiring is used on WPC95.
