Ok thanks for the info. It’s pretty rare to see BBB for sale in Europe.
I moved my BBB to the 2nd floor of my house and just realized that my neon si no longer working.
I’ve swithed the neon with a spare and it’s still not working so the neon itself is not the problem.
I would try to check my plug:
Can someone could please take pictures of how the plugs are done please under the neon? Here is pictures of mine :

That’s the one I got on the picture
Quoted from noitbe1:Does anyone know where to find a replacement of this ?
Not sure in Paris. In USA hardware stores would have them. They go by the FS - U

Maybe Amazon ?

Is 30 W ok ? It says 20 W on it.
Quoted from noitbe1:Is 30 W ok ? It says 20 W on it.
No. It says 4, 6, 8, 14, 15, 20 W.
So it will take 4 watts to 20 watts, 30 is too big.
Might zap the bulb on start up, or not start it.

I’m not sure what FS-U or FS-2 stands for and if it’s important

Thanks !
Finally joining the Club after 15 years of wanting this machine. #52 found in Germany for a fair price and in excellent condition. It was taken well care of by the previous owner that graciously let me buy my holy grail.
I notice that BBB is around 5 cm higher up in the front on the lockbar than Rick & Morty. Is the BBB/Capcom games a bit higher than other pinball machines?

You made a real good deal !
Hopefully the dancer arrived I am the guy who sold it to your seller.
Have fun !
And yes, also in my lineup the Capcomes are a little higher.
Thanks! Yeah, the new dancer is in place doing her thing. Top quality on that one!
Thanks for your answer as well.

Congrats on joining the club. Funny, you have the same game combination I do. 788DF681-53FE-4ABA-B60C-9BA3D88C6B27 (resized).jpegHere is my BBB and R&M combo:

I know who you got that bbb from by the looks of that topper! I bought his first one. I never could find that bat!
Ah, yea, that’s not the same bat. Despite a good deal of effort I was not able to talk ulmpharmd out if his bat…I tried. Since I couldn’t get that bat out of him I commissioned the one I do have…it is nearly same color as my powder coat and glows in dark, it looks awesome with the black light. I would rather have the one from the original artist all things being equal but mine looks like a knock out under the black light.

That looks awesome!
For those who own BBB, could you please let me know how easy (or not easy) it might be to get toys, mech and esp boards if/when they fail?
Looks like place in Australia has some parts but certainly not comprehensive.
Any advice, experiences, anecdotes appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Dan
Very hard !
You can get the ElFoil, I made them in cowork with "ministryofpinball.com" in the netherlands.
You can get a dancing figurine from me, will have some in 8 weeks around.
Alien figurines ... no way. I can organize 3D printed unpainted and undrilled. used them in my personell remake.
Motors for Aliens ard dancer are available in Australia.
The pcb for ElFoil and blacklight is very rare and hard to find.
EMI breakboard for the aliens will fit with WMS, the dancer has no EMI board.
Mechanic for the Aliens not to get ... but you can make it yourself with some work, same for the bracket for the dancer.
I think this were all toys on BBB.
Most other parts are standart Capcom and available in shops or used.
Hello there,
I am desperately looking for a tube for the dancer. With pinbits gone, these seem to be impossible to find.... Just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction or has a spare one to maybe even sell to me.....
Thank you much!
Molecule by molecule the original silicone tube dancers are worth more than gold. I literally moved my spare into my safe deposit box (so my five year old doesn’t find it and play with it) and acquired some knock offs. My spare is not for sale though, I plan to install it in my game in the unlikely event I ever decide to sell my game.
Quoted from Dan1733:So, if the board that operates the dancer's motor breaks, there is no replacement?
The dancers motor has no breakboard ! It is directly connected to the driverboard.
The aliens have a breakboard , it can be replaced with a stock WMS motor EMI.
This is such a board and the homebrew alöien mechanics. You need also a small pcb with a opto set to get the positions of the aliens. Cost me some weeks to figure out how it works.

On the original BBB´s there is a breakboard with a programmable pic. We got panic that this special pic is needet. A friend was able to "read out" the code from the pic. Afterwards we figured out that a normal EMI board will do the job .... that was several new gray hairs on my head
The code from the pic is now available on Pfutz´s webpage.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Oh man, I need to get that 2012 calendar. Where did you find it?
I bought some BBB prints and a watercolor lava girl from Stan Fukuoka and he kindly gifted me with several BBB T-shirts, that calendar and some other goodies. Really great guy to work with.
Hopefully the NOS ladys stay in touch ... they will also "die" in bags within the years !
I had also a pic of a green one looking like the flash lady !
You can contact Jim at pingame journal. He might have a few from back then. PGJ Issue #149 (February 2012)

I'll look through my old Pingame journals to see if I have that issue.
Got a pile in the basement I was gonna maybe sell.

Stan's art for BBB is only on the cover. Other covers have his art too.
hi all,
I need some help,
my black playfield neon is still no more turning on during gameplay (see previous pst)
I have this issue for several weeks now and I'm lost on what I could check or do to progress:
- what I should know:
not the neon? : I have 3 spare of neon and tested all so the neon doesn't seem to be the issue
not the starter ? : the starter is perfectly working on the other neon and I have several spare as well
plug? : I've checked all the plugs to the board and the alim and everything is fine
starter socket ? : I've replaced the starter socket and it's not that either
neon support ... ? : I've disassembled and checked the neon both socket on each side and there is no damage (everything still look like new)
Tom (thanks to him) lend me another control board and I still had the same issue
Any idea or test I could do ? thanks for any help ....

they are impossible to locate. i have a flesh colored one and a green one as well that are both NOS in my games cabinet. Nice to them as spares as we all know the lifespan of the games dancers isn't forever. I just put a aftermarket one in my mine after the original got twisted up, but I have a couple OEMs left.
244364399_10219890335836178_8447680572616061628_n (resized).jpgQuoted from dts:Question for the club, which BBB is considered more reliable, the IPB version or Capcom?
IPB released a updated version of the software.
All the boards are the same but the one to handle the ramp light.: They changed the lamp voltage for the ramp.
They redisigned the main ramp which was way too big and not fitting properly into the cabinet.
Sum up: Both are the same pin but the one from IPB got issues fix so it’s closer to a production pin.
The real Capcom’s was a real proto with some flaws. (Fixed by IPB team)
