which area? I can't figure out which insert this is. Are you saying the clear one is the Cunningham remake?

The insert in the pop bumper area: http://www.hsapinball.com/HSA_PINBALL/BBBPictures.html#92
IPB used the large white/clear ones on the proto games. Game number 001-009 or 010 if I remember correctly. The original Capcom games used the same color insert.
http://www.hsapinball.com/HSA_PINBALL/BBBPictures.html#172
IPB used the large yellow insert on their regular games, I believe game number 11-192?

Exactly. Only thing is there is a specific serie with a 0 and there are 1 to 10 also so yellow insert is there from the number 2... and 01 to 013 has white pop bumpers insert.

Are you sure about this? I could remember Gene telling me that he made like 192 or 194 games in total including the extra parts games. If your correct, then there is like 192 regular games plus 13 more so like 205 games in total? I am almost positive that Gene made less than 200 games all in all.

Yes. BBB 9 has been listed here. BBB 2, 3, 5 has been seen /sold on pinside.
Mine is 11 and there is also a 011 gold. I have a picture somewhere.
I thibk it’s 199: 183 + 16 EXPP
You have more infos here :

Also, for people curious regarding the white insert history, you got infos on this really old thread here :

Just a few more examples, you can see the #5 box, the #11 and #011. My BBB has exactly the same gold plate as the gold #011 with the same message.

I believe the 011 was the gold trim edition
Quoted from jake35:I believe the 011 was the gold trim edition
Yes. The plan was to build only a serie of 10 with brass/gold trim, I think there are around 15.

Quoted from TomDK:Regular for 4500 Dollars ... and in this days the Euro was very stable and high.
So several european customers got their BBB for around 5000 Euro incl. shipping via airfrigh.
Unbelievable !
Even my homebrew was more expensive
I think the regular was sold at cost (or loss)... this limited edition, with its price (almost twice WTF) was meant to bring back some money.
Ball lock in the left side in lane. It will always drop 2 balls at the same time. Is this normal? Is there any adjustment for this if not?
Quoted from insight75:Ball lock in the left side in lane. It will always drop 2 balls at the same time. Is this normal? Is there any adjustment for this if not?
Make sure the plunger isn’t rubbing the ramp.

Gotta remmeber though that when these came out, $4500 was a lot of money for a machine...nothing like today's pricing, but still a lot. I wanted to buy one of the remakes back then, but I was single and didn't have $4500 to spend on a pinball machine.....got to play the game at a lot of friends houses that had one, so all good.
Quoted from jchristian11:Make sure the plunger isn’t rubbing the ramp.
Well, I went through this mech and essentially rebuilt it. Plunger isn't rubbing. All looks good. Everything is smooth. The only time it happens now is at the start of multibrawl. It will send the first 2 balls and then the 3rd. It will now only release 1 ball any other time which is good. It just seems to hold the plunger longer at the start of multbrawl. Weird.
I have 4 new dancing ladys here ready to ship.
2 are sold ... 2 waiting for new job in your BBB pin.
Shipping within 4 days to the US.

Next ladys will arrive march / april 2023.
First come, first serve !
Fortunate enough to join the club recently with a NIB pin #151. A fellow pinsider had asked to share a few pics so doing that here.
Love how they packed the leg bolts each In a separate bag. Note the date on the newspaper that wa on the box - in the leg tube - thought the story was funny.
A few rubs on the back of the backbox from where the box rubbed off a little paint over time and looks like the tube has come unglued from the base, but all else looks good.
Two questions for the other owners - those that have the EL green armor - any idea what color/paint that is? Also, for the tube dancer - best way to get her out? Undo everything under or just pull the tube off from the top after unhooking the latch?
Happy to be in the club. Happy New Year all!

Amazing. I didn’t know there was NiB left. Thanks for the pictures. Regarding the dancer, I can’t help because I didn’t need to remove it till now. It shouldn’t be too hard I guess.
Very cool. I'm glad its out of the box and being played like it should be. How did the tube dancer hold up?

Amazing. Congrats!!!
The dancer is easy to replace. Just remove the tube and she comes off the piece she's attached to.

She’s a bit twisted and looks a little limp, but I’ll pull it apart and see if she can’t hold her own.
Would definitely be interested in the topper people have spoken about. Who made it originally? Are they still around pinside?

Yeah really would like to have that topper as well.
@TigerLaw: any info on this?
Quoted from insight75:Ball lock in the left side in lane. It will always drop 2 balls at the same time. Is this normal? Is there any adjustment for this if not?
Update on this issue I was having....in case anyone else has it. I doubled up on the coil return spring and this fixed the issue. The spring did not have enough push to quickly stop the 2nd ball from falling. Will try to find a thicker/stronger spring so I don't have to use 2.
Got mine today too. Really happy with it. Packaging was great.
Quoted from matlynch91:Coos mirrored backglass arrived - wow - amazing work and a great upgrade!
[quoted image]
Are air balls common with this game? I've reduced power to the flippers a bit and still getting a good number of air balls....specifically from the upper right flipper.
Quoted from insight75:Yeah really would like to have that topper as well.

No, I forgot to ask him. I will send him a text now.
For anyone that ordered the mirrored backglass from coos, just confirming that it does fit in the existing mounting brackets.
Also, if anyone else acquired their BBB from the original owner and has a plaque with another name on it that they would like to change, I’ve managed to track down the trophy shop that made them originally and they said they can reproduce them ($35ish). Will report back when I get mine.

The back glass from coos is a really tight fit with the existing trim. I need to find some trim that is thinner material on the sides
Quoted from TigerLaw:No, I forgot to ask him. I will send him a text now.
Most owners would probably buy that topper including myself

Strange. Mine was a little loose when I exchanged them. As usual, nothing seems the same from pin to pin.

Mine was a little tighter but fit no problem. Good news is the head lock now works as before I was able to get the glass out without unlocking.

Would like to get mine redone as well. Good stuff.

That’s awesome!
Be sure to keep the original plaque with it. Love the history on these machines
Quoted from jake35:Thats cool. Did Gene use that sign at shows?
We'll if he did he didn't hang it as there was no holes in it. It did come directly from Gene back in 2014 and perhaps he used it in his booth but just placed it some place without hanging it, could have been a early one and no time to put holes it....? I never really gave it a thought at that moment and was just happy to acquire another cool sign to add to my collection of many. I've since put holes in it and hung it over those two games.

That's cool. Maybe he set it on his table at shows or propped up somewhere.

If the person that produced it would be willing or able to make more, it would be great for the guys looking for one. I have the same topper. It is well made, laser cut and engraved acrylic with a custom base the 3 individiual pieces sit in, and has color changing led rope light in the base. Whoever did it knew what they were doing.
The guy I bought mine from also had a custom backglass made somehow, with a custom foam board with LED strips attached instead of the fluorescent bulb. (He included the original bulb assembly).

Yep. I’m in.
I would most definitely be in.
Still have the question about airballs guys. Am I alone or is it common with this game?

Yep, mine too, and it’s awesome. How does this new mirrored glass in comparison to the real backglass you and I have?
