I've just got to ask...what's the weirdest thing you've ever found inside or stuck on your used Pinball Machine purchase? Personally, just lots of petrified chewing gum, but one guy told me about dirty underpants found inside his machine. Who's got the best story?

P.S. I will go ahead and acknowledge that Adam Sandler says, "You can hide your weed in there".

When I got my 'Fire!' home, I was surprised to find a heaping handful of burnt matches inside the brass bell. Not book matches either, thick-stick box-matches!

I can't help but notice that everything is covered in a thick layer of dust, yet the foreign object is not...

A spare DMD and a bunch of spare plastics. Not bad.

    #13 10 years ago

Some random puzzle pieces and a lego stormtrooper head. Also found a pinball - the previous owners said you just had to keep pressing start (over ride the ball search for the missing pinball) to begin.

I suppose if that we're Addams Family, it might be a spare "thing". Would be a real shocker to see that pop out of the Thing cigar box. :O

You guys are killing me with those photos.

Cat pee is a show stopper. Don't care if its Medieval Madness, such a machine is NOT going in my house!

The fact that the second pic is called "cock invaders" is the funniest thing I have ever seen on pinside!

This is indeed a planted object. Look at the spots of dust that has been disturbed, you can clearly see someone has rubbed dirt on a dildo they already owned.

My first pinball purchase was a Williams Super Star. When I got it home I found that it had been shelter for a family of rodents!! Had to pull out the entire plyboard mounted mechanical assembly to get it fully cleaned out. Not as gross as a pile of dildos however!

    #28 10 years ago

So they must have had a policy of never using the same one twice????

    #29 10 years ago

I bought a T2 for $1200 a couple of years ago. When I got home I found about $2.00 worth of quarters stuck in the coin slots. It doesn't get any more exciting than that folks.

Thought I'd revive this. Just drilled out the lock on my newly aquired Liberty Bell. Found four Penthouse's, two Hustler's and a Playboy. All from the late 80's. Also found some film negatives (nothing weird), some Poloroids (again, nothing weird) and old love letters. There was also an unused condom and a VHS tape labled "Kelly's Heroes, The Living Daylights and The Cowboys." I doubt those movies are what is on there. The tape was really moldy and I don't feel like setting up a VHS player (I think I still have one) so we'll never know.

    Oh. Also found mouse poop.

    That's a notorious snuff film.

I think I remember in one of the other "what have you found threads" that a guy found a sex tape of the previous owner and his wife...

I bought an old EM game that the guy didn't have the keys for...found about $7.00 in dimes from the 60s and 70s. Other than that, I've never found anything really interesting in a game I've purchased.

In late 90's went to an estate auction with a Funhouse...estate auction, so no keys to be found, everything locked up. Was very nice and pumped in several dollars in quarters to "test" it. I was in up to $1500, but then dropped out (all the cash I had on me and that was quite a bit for a Funhouse at that time)...winner got it for $1600.

Ran into the new owner a couple months later and he said that there was an envelope with $800 inside the coin box (along with about $10 in quarters from all the play testing).

I took apart the glass frame for a Bally Odds and Evens and found a Hershey bar wrapper wedged under the lockdown bar. From the price on the wrapper I figured it was from about 1975.

Pretty tame compared to these stories. Normally all I ever find are burned out bulbs, a few miscellaneous coins, and sometimes odd paperwork.

ok, so the question on everyone's mind is why do you own that many dildos and why are you using a pinball machine to store them?

This photo would be much more ironic if it was found in a "Big Bang Bar" pinball machine.
    Just sayin'

$125 in singles, inside a game worth $200.

$50 in quarters from a operator/flipper inside a video game. Its not that strange, except that removing the quarters as an operator should be the top priority. I considered it gas money for my 2 hour drive, on a broken POS game.

    #49 9 years ago

My favorite was a game that had a bong, a bag of weed, and three of those cardboard pine-tree shaped air fresheners hanging from the harness standoffs under the playfield.

I found a couple baseball cards. Nothing crazy. Just some old 80's Topps with no name pitchers.
