Weird Monopoly light issue??

I just stripped and cleaned my Monopoly, and after putting it all back together and playing a game, I noticed that at the start of the game, the left outlane special light and the 6x bonus light above the flippers are flashing. The lights work fine in attract mode, and rolling over the flashing special during gameplay does not award Special. Seems strange. Does anybody know what's going on here?

Also, sometimes mid game the "Coin Door Open" message pops up on the DMD (with the coin door shut) but there is still power going to the flippers and full game. Are these 2 problems related?

Any help would be much appreicated.

not sure what you did as far a cleaning.

Make sure you don't have a metal lamp socket touching any metal under the Playfield.
Make sure a diode on the controlled lights isn't touching something in a similar manner.
Did you try reseating the ribbion cables?

So what is the definitive Ver Rom to play? I just bought one and and going to be setting it up this weekend.

I am running the latest ROM release and no issues thus far.
You need two chips if you are burning your own, the game ROM and display ROM.

don't run version 3.20 it will cause your game to crash and shut down .
