I am having some issues with the sarcophagus lock on my Iron Maiden Premium. I have had the machine since new and have not had any issues with it up until now. Recently, the sarcophagus lock will randomly start going up and down at a very rapid rate. Way faster than I have ever seen it move before. This only seems to happen while in a game. I have yet to see it happen during attract mode. When it does start happening, it will stop when a new mode or some kind of even activation happens. Or the ball drains. Then it will seem to be ok for a while, until it happens. again. Sometimes it will be fine for half a dozen games and then will start again. Shaking the machine doesn't seem to help or make it stop, only starting mode or some other event happening in the game.

I have tried going into the menus when this is currently happening and I don't see anything weird in the switch menu. I can not however activate the sarcophagus motor test when it is like this. It just doesn't do anything.

I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure it out. The switches all seem fine, but I don't know if they could cause this or not.

reseating all of the rj45 connectors in the backbox and on the node boards 'seems' to have solved it for now for me.
