Weird BSD Opto/Switch Issue

Just recently noticed the “Opto Wire Ramp Popper” under the left castle randomly firing.

I figured out that anytime the right sling is activated (sw. 65), right before it this opto is activated (sw 55). These switches are right next to each other in the same row.

Is this an Opto issue, opto board issue, or something different entirely?

Check solder joints on optos. The sling might be enough vibration to trigger it. Put game in switch test, when you thump on playfield does it trigger the opto? If that isn't it test the diode on the sling switch and others on that row.

Turns out I wired the new sling switches up incorrectly. The row/col lones we’re wired directly to the switch blades so the diode wasn’t really doing anything.
