My T2 coin door has three coin slots, and uses wedges (#555) for the bulbs in the coin slots. So, we included wedge bulbs in our LED kit that we sell at Comet Pinball. I'm just finding out that everyone who has purchased this kit has bayonet sockets (#44/#47) in their coin doors, and two slots.

Why is mine different? Did someone mess with it or is there another explanation?

I usually assume that if a game has three slots here in the US, it means it's a reimport. Is that strictly true? Did games shipped overseas use wedges instead of bayonets?

Basically I'm trying to determine if there is a rule we could use to make sure people get the right bulbs (like: send wedges to for overseas 90s bally williams game kit purchase). In the end, we'll probably just include three of each type, though I'm not sure which games this would apply to, and it's a better customer experience if people only receive bulbs that they need, without any extras. (Though I realize this may not be possible).

Also, thought this would be a good excuse to learn something. #themoreyouknow

Still curious if there are any rules about two slots vs three or wedges vs bayonet. Random example: Gottlieb Monte Carlo has all bayonet bulbs. Except the two in the coin door!
