Hi everyone

Having some issues troubleshooting the bottom right flipper on TAF. Flipper assembly is in good condition. Wiring all seems OK. Fliptronic board has been rebuilt by someone in the past - probably to fix this problem. All other flippers are fine.

The right flipper will sometimes lose the power stroke and will only flip with hold power (too weak). When I first came across the issue I lifted the playfield to look at the flipper assembly and it started flipping at full power again as soon as the playfield was half raised. Weird.

The next day it was weak again. I'm thinking some wiring was getting pinched or the coil was improperly soldered but the wiring checked out OK. Any ideas on why it would intermittently lose the power stroke?

Connector issue? Bad solder joint? Thanks for any tips.

Finally fixed this issue. It was the Fliptronic board. The TIP36 and TIP102 transistors for the power winding had been replaced and tested good. But nothing further down had been replaced. Turns out that diode D8 had failed. That was the problem component after all.
