I have a World Cup Soccer 94, excellent condition....except, recently the right flipper became weak, now almost zero reflex. However, if I open the coin door, running a machine check, the flipper works great as it runs thru its self check. I replaced the miniature board at the button control, no luck. I also did a complete flipper rebuild. It starts off strong then dies as it warms up. Any help appreciated.

I can't remember but does it have a flip tronics board in the back?

Typically, this is caused by dirty optos at the cabinet flipper button(s).
But, I see that you've replaced the flipper opto board.

Did you replace the coils when you did your rebuild? Flipper fade is usually the coil getting too hot.

Remove balls, raise playfield, take a pic or two of the right flipper assembly and post pics here. Use a flash if needed.

I was also thinking this. Might be worth swapping the left+right flipper coils to see if the problem moves.
