I find it peculiar that the disputed funds weren't segregated into a escrow account of some kind in the first place. Why muddy the waters with funds that appear to be encumbered?

So we were told shipping of ecle's domestically slowed because some were being channeled to Australia? So where did they ship to if they aren't going down under? It seems that the 200+ outstanding ecle's have remained at 200+. It just doesn't add up. Standards are shipping, why not the remainder of the LE's?

Are these pm's JJP is sending out threatening in tone, ie cease and desist type pm's or simply offering an account of things? Hopefully it's the latter rather than the former. Strong arming your customer base is really a bad sign. Lets hope that's not the case.

**edit**
Thinking more on this, Jack's response was peculiar. It was as if the two sides have not spoke about this yet the op said several times they had. If the JJP legal brain trust advised against sending the 22 games, why not contact them directly? Why not spell out what he needed in order to indemnify JJP from future recourse. Lay out at checklist of sorts to get the ball rolling? Perhaps have HIS legal counsel draft an indemnity waiver/contract and stipulate the terms to secure delivery of the 22 games. It just seems like a Rube Goldberg way of trying settle this.

Quoted from ek77:

There is no cash flow building LE games only in the standard games.

I understand the crux of the matter. I was trying to be a little more subtle than that and provide a little wiggle room.

Quoted from Whysnow:

I am fully in support of them going after the person that ACTUALLY stole their money, Bumper.
Playerone has had a nice change of tone currently but I still stand by the fact that JJP owes noone but the person that paid them, bumper > or the legal entitiy representing the 79 WOZ debitors.

Funny thing is, the pm JJP is sending to people in this thread states he (Jack/JJP) views the 79 as creditors. So there's that...

Quoted from spfxted:

Ok, so let's wish every pin company that does something we don't like goes out of business....

There is a whole hell of a big difference in "not liking something" and being stiffed for $6-7,000.00.

Come on Ted, you can see the difference.

Quoted from TigerLaw:

Really? Anyone have a scanned copy? That is surprising to hear.

I thought this was common knowledge. There is a reason why guys in the industry drop hints and stop shy of saying things. Bryan Kelly all but said the cabinets weren't being delayed because the cabinet maker **couldn't** make them. I think it's pretty easy to infer he **wouldn't** make them. I may have read that wrong but I don't believe so.

Quoted from PPS:

Quite a stretch ... there are alot of armchair attorneys sometimes here ... lol

...Coming from someone known to fire off a few C&D's himself. LOL

There was at least one real attorney that commented on it here in this thread.

Quoted from Pinchroma:

My personal favorite. Getting head in some states is against the law. I'm not moving to the following states:
Florida
Idaho
Louisiana
Michigan
Alabama
Mississippi
N/S Carolina
Utah
Virginia

Yikes! I have broken the law in four of those states. I'm a national criminal.

P.S. Getting not receiving you sob's.
