Quoted from MrBally:The silence is deafening. Maybe "just another week".
Another week ish.
Quoted from JerseyJack:We are building and shipping what we were paid for. We are here, not going anywhere either. There are 55 games going to Australia in a few weeks - 22 of them are the paid for "Bumper games"
We will post picture of the games being built in process too - remember - pictures or it didn't happen.
Is there any news about the other 33 games that were ready to ship 3 months ago? I never saw the pics.

You'd have to ask Wayne but there were no pics. So I'm guessing it didn't happen...
1000 ECLE 100 Down unders 22 Rescue and finally Ruby Red. So glad I got in on this "special" part of pinball history. I really do feel speshul...

Don't forget the first 1,000 standards are to be numbered as well .

Damn, and I saw the little green icon and thought someone actually posted something relevant in here. Silly me.

There's only 1 in my house. I smile every time I play it.

Yes 33 Games we ordered have been shipped

Hopefully on a P&O container ship and not Maersk.
P&O no longer exists. They were bought by Maersk years ago. What happened in that pic happens far too frequently around the world.
Quoted from Vyzer2:P&O no longer exists. They were bought by Maersk years ago. What happened in that pic happens far too frequently around the world.
Thanks for that as I did not realize that P&O Container lines is gone as I still see P & O Nedlloyd containers from time to time. P & O still exists for cruise lines and ferries though. You should see how container chassis are abused at the ports in Long Beach, Miami and the New York City ports. Guys in fork lifts/stackers just flip them over. Funny to see and hear.
I had a container shipped from Long Beach that arrived 2 weeks ago here in Australia and I was hoping for calm seas...
I would've been so happy to get a phone call to say the container is now floating in the Pacific...NOT
Quoted from Mato:So any news? Has the WOZ group received a date of shipping and arrival yet.........
We are closer than ever to a resolution. Jack has sent us a release letter that all WOZ group members will sign giving JJP security that they will not be challenged once they build and ship 22 WOZ Rescue's. The WOZ directors have reviewed the agreement and only need a couple of minor administrational changes to be made before sending it out for a formal sign off. Once we have a full sign off and all agreements are sent back to JJP, I estimate this to take around 2 weeks as the group is highly motivated, we can then ask Jack for an accurate shipping date.
The title "Rescue Edition" was well excepted by the group and Jack has expressed his enthusiasm for this very significant title run as well.
Again, thanks for all the backing from you guys!!!!
Ironic that this is now the most limited run in terms of le games. Lets hope that pays off when the majority are sold.

Any more news? I haven't received an email to sign off yet...
Quoted from Playerone:Jack is putting the finishing touches on the agreement with his attorney today. He has agreed to build 3 machines a week slipping them into his current schedule. He wants all machines to be shipped by the start of November. Our job now is to get everything signed off for Jack then it all systems go.
This post was a month ago and still nothing...

Playerone posted this 1 week and 1 day ago:

That is not nothing.
Started 2 months ago and seems like still no closer to receiving your Woz's.......yep you can say waiting on this or signing this but it seems like stall tactics as your still waiting and waiting and waiting while machines are being delivered everywhere else.
So who's to blame now? JJP for making every little step take way longer than necessary, or is it now on the buyers because they're taking forever to get the paperwork signed and returned?
Seems to me as though every little thing DOES take forever and MAYBE just MAYBE, Jack should never have been put on a spit and publicly roasted per many previous comments, after all.
Hmmmm?

So a couple of months of delay potentially due to the buyers getting legal documents finalized with 70+ people as opposed to years of broken promises and deadlines from JJP. Hmmmm

Agreed that JJP took WAY longer than first stated on the actual release of the game. If you're still sore over that, you're in the wrong hobby. (Ask any Magic Girl, RAZA, or Predator buyers!)
My point was that JJP was flamed on this website for being deceitful. It was made out that he was lying and avoiding the issue of the refund/replacement pins. Now that a simple task is to be done (signing paperwork), it becomes very obvious that even the simple things take longer than we'd like. Especially when there are legal issues.
Given we're now at the point where Jack has agreed to not only offer up these machines (which honestly, he isn't even obliged to do since the bankruptcy lawyers for Bumper haven't asked him for the refunds back -likely because Bumper broke the agreement by not providing all the funds?), but make special editions! I think it's well past due for some of the flame-happy-pin-monkeys to own up to your false accusations.
I said it before and I'll say it again: Jack is a man of his word and is a good guy to deal with.
The End.
I think Jack was very cool to you guys when he didn't have to if I was him I wouldn't give you assholes anything you're nothing but cry babies
Quoted from jrush2112:I think Jack was very cool to you guys when he didn't have to if I was him I wouldn't give you assholes anything you're nothing but cry babies
A tad harsh don't you think? Some of the guys have been a little OTT in their posts in my opinion but I can understand their anger.
I would like to know how you would react if you had lost 11k.

You are way out of line!
Wow @ that post..
I haven't been following this, but "Rescue" edition might be the best double-entendre I've seen recently. Seriously LOL'ed at that. I hope you guys get it!

Whelp, that about wraps up the worst post of the month contest.

Very mature response.

I'm not sore about anything. Just trying to keep some perspective. You started your post with "So who's to blame now". I don't see how trying to paint people that have had their money stolen as part of the problem because they've taken a couple of months in getting 70+ people to sign legal documents is helpful.
Yes things can be more complex than they seem. And that's why a company should manage their customers expectations and not make promises they can't deliver on. Providing realistic deadlines would also prevent some people from making negative statements about Jacks ethics. The legal obligation for the money paid would also be more complex than saying JJP don't have to pay it back because the Bumper 2 liquidators didn't have an interest in it. The reason they didn't has already been covered in this thread and was basically due to more dodgy behaviour by Bumper management.
I think it's great to see JJP committing to helping these guys out. And i'm not going to make any judgements about Jack as a person as i've never met him.
I'd also be more than happy for you to point out any flaming i've done or false accusations I've made.

Geezz.... just because your stuck living in Buffalo, don't take your bitterness out on these guys!

If you weren't one of the people that flamed Jack earlier, why would you think this was aimed at you?
The thread is 28 pages long. My comments do not apply to everyone who's posted, just those who were treating Jack like a lying criminal, trying to make it sound like this was a simple issue that could be resolved with the flip of a switch.

Because typically when you quote someone you are responding to their post. So when you say
Quoted from Chambahz:I think it's well past due for some of you flame-happy-pin-monkeys to own up to your false accusations.
it indicates you are directing it at the person you quoted. Otherwise it would be more appropriate to say:

I said "some of".
But just to clarify, I've edited my post.
Either way, the previous accusers on here should be back up to the plate, with apologies to Jack and co.
Hey Guys, yes it's taking longer than expected to get this done. However each week brings us a lot closer than we were 3 months ago. There is a letter, the letter will most likely go out for signing this week coming. It's had several re-jiggs and taken over a month for both parties be satisfied with it. There has also been conformation that production has begun on our machines.

Looking good...the end is near.

Can you prove this?

Thanks for the hard work. Circle of money - get some back from lost funds, then recycle them back to JJP for Pat's next game most probably. My FH and TZ would like their little cousin to keep them company. No pre-order though, will wait to grab one from Wayne this time ( like I did for WOZ v2)
Quoted from jardine:Can you prove this?
No. All I can go by is what I've been told by Jack.
He's said 5 have hit the line so let's see.
what about that lineup of RR's with the single coin slot? maybe those? the north American machines that have been delivered and pics posted up have 2 slots on the coin door.
After many weeks, the release/agreement letter that JJP has provided has been sent out to WOZ group members for signing. The process now involves 60 people signing and returning their agreement to JJP.
Faithfully, Jack has already hit the production button on our machines, this will ensure the fastest possible resolution from this point forward. As promised I will be updating you guys on the whole process as we move along.
