I'd love to see anything Lovecraftian. Re-Animator would be nice. I'd also just love another generic Haunted Mansion/halloween themed pin. Nightmare before Christmas would be great too. I like both the campy/funny horror themes and the scary/revolting stuff. It seems like there are way too few pins with scary stuff, corpses, maggots and gore. I guess that is a bit of an audience limiter.

    Quoted from hAbO:

A Disney Haunted Mansion (ride not movie based) would be the shizzz. Family friendly but creepy cool potential

If they ever make this machine, there would be a huge rush on the LE as Haunted Mansion collectors are crazy and this would be another must have for them. I'd be very interested in this as a title as well with music from the ride, characters, sounds etc. It could be an awesome machine!

I would go for "The Frightmare before Christmas" LE

Besides, Disney needs a new pin for their park arcades! The other ones are all worn out and dirty now...

Dirty Donny, Dirty Donny, Dirty Donny, Dirty Donny, Dirty Donny, Dirty Donny.....

There are a lot of Disney collectors out there in particular Haunted Mansion collectors. Disneymanics would be a nice cross over audience to appeal to.

I remember when the Haunted Mansion just sat there for years before they finally opened a
    ride in it.

    #58 10 years ago

I remember Mr Toad's Wild Ride, 20,000 leagues, and the Skyway

    #59 10 years ago

    Toady's still there.

I'm a "world" man myself, only done "Land" once. But yes it's good to know he's still somewhere.
I liked the Matterhorn at DLand.

    #61 10 years ago

I was only 5 at the time, but I'll never forget my first look at "the new Tomorrowland".

Hell yeah more whores on pins!

    #63 10 years ago

Disney Haunted Mansion ? (Theme park version) Heck yeah ! I'd bet that would be hugely popular.

    #64 10 years ago

Maybe sci-fi horror but still pretty scary at the time. "Get away from her you bitch" multiball?

That'd be my luck. We'd finally get a horror themed pin and it would be endorsed by Disney. Yipeee

    #66 10 years ago

The Walking Dead the comic or the show version, The Thing would be pretty cool, Army of Darkness the quotes alone would be awesome, Aliens. An original non licensed horror theme would be awesome.

I know I'm dreaming and it would never happen in a million years, but Dead Alive. Throw in the humor, the gore, the weird characters (karate priest, mom, greasers, pervy uncle, etc.). And, of course, Lawnmower Multiball!!!

    Quoted from canea:

"I kick ass for the Lord!"

Funny to think back to that year Raimi & Jackson releasing those movies, and look at them now.

    #69 10 years ago
    Quoted from Skulz:

How about Retro Atomic Zombie Adventureland, Pinball Zombies From Beyond The Grave, or Ghost Squad (forget what it is now called). There are three horror/haunted/comedy releases coming sooooon.

    What he said^

It would be nice to see a horror themed pin. But I can't say I'd be too excited to see a Saw pin or a Hostel pin. Torture porn doesn't do it for me. Why not go for a Human Centipede if you like that sort of thing. Hell yeah, Human Centipede multiball! I can imagine the visuals.

    #71 10 years ago

Ya Horror,Zombies theme would be Awesome!!!

    #72 10 years ago
    Quoted from o-din:

This series was almost too brutal for the theatre, let alone a pinball game.

I never even knew there was a Hostel: Part III. Looks like Eli Roth wasn't involved. Is it any good?

    #73 10 years ago
    Quoted from gweempose:

I never saw the third one either.

    #74 10 years ago
    Quoted from hAbO:

I'm always hopeful for a Rob Zombie pinball or a haunted house theme. Zombies, werewolves, mummies, angry red women and kick ass music....I'll keep wishing

And that would be la sexorcisto awesome..and to make it really creepy, he can throw in some of his peewee's playhouse work.

    #75 10 years ago

Pee Wee's Haunted Playhouse. Make it so.

    #76 10 years ago
    Quoted from blondetall:

Pee Wee's Haunted Playhouse. Make it so.

It would be like having a creepy sex offender in your gameroom.

    #77 10 years ago

I vote evil dead still. Like everyone else

    #78 10 years ago

Not horror, but Ghost busters would be great! Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd call outs would be hilarious.

I've owned Freddy (sucked IMHO) BSD (loved it) I've always wanted to see Stern do these 2 horror pinball machines.

Jason... aka Friday the 13th (Based on all 11 Films)
Michael Myers...aka Halloween (Based on all the films)

    Can I get an AMEN!?

    #80 10 years ago

    #81 10 years ago

I'd buy a Scooby Dooby Doooooooo!

    #82 10 years ago

    Jaws would be sahweeet.

    #83 10 years ago

I'd buy a Scooby Dooby Doooooooo!

    but Dead Alive

I've never seen this movie, it looks like it would be right down my alley.

    #85 10 years ago

    Maybe it's more Sci Fi

    image.jpgimage.jpg

    #86 10 years ago

    Dexter, blood and boobs
    Saw, like the toys
Gremlins, funny and scary.....more funny hehehe

    #87 10 years ago
    Quoted from pinmanguy:

I vote evil dead still. Like everyone else

It is a theme that encompasses everything I'd like to see in a pin.

Dude. Make haste. Best thing Peter Jackson will ever do.

Fun film. You will like it!

    #91 10 years ago

Lots of great suggestions. Some of my favs:

    Evil Dead
Dead Alive <-- Honch, see this!
    Jaws
    Return of the Living Dead
    Phantasm
    Ghostbusters

If going unlicensed... zombies, post apocalyptic, haunted house.

Dead Alive, aka Braindead, is one of the greatest movies ever made.

    #93 10 years ago

    haunted house 2
jaws... never understood why it was never made.
space horror theme, that'd be cool.

    #94 10 years ago

DEXTER would absolutely sell and get more people involved in pinball. It would be a hit.

    #95 10 years ago

since music and pinball been coming together recently again...

I second the motion for Rob Zombie pin....

or a Disturbed pin would be awesome aswell.

    #96 10 years ago
    Quoted from DynamiteSJ:

I second the motion for Rob Zombie pin....

I like a lot of what Rob Zombie has done, musically and in cinema. I think it would make a great theme for a pin. Unfortunately, his latest film, The Lords of Salem, left me a little flat. It was like 90 minutes of an incoherent acid trip.

    #97 10 years ago
    Quoted from TheShameGovernor:

Holy crap, Street Trash. That takes me back. Pretty sure they would only sell two units though (one to you and one to me)
I vote Dead Alive (aka Braindead). Hilarious callouts, and lawnmower multiball!

Great minds think alike! Good call on Dead Alive, love that one as well! Are you sure we weren't seperated at birth?

    #98 10 years ago

Dexter or Walking Dead from recent TV. I'd buy either sight unseen.

My dream theme is Scooby Doo (based on original).

From there, Haunted House II, Rob Zombie/Halloween, Haunted Mansion, anything halloween-themed would rock.

    #99 10 years ago

BUT, Dead Alive would have to be an outright Gorefest Pin. They might feel this would be too limited a market. ....and you certainly don't want it watered down. A good one for Skit-B....

    #100 10 years ago

The artwork, characters, themes and music of Rob Zombies is pretty much a complete package. Easy win for a pin my opinion.

"How to Make a Monster" - Collect all body parts to start 4 ball multiball
"Living Dead Girl" - Complete 5 lanes to start jackpot mode
"Dragula" - Hit all drop targets to lanes
"Demon Speeding" - 5 combo shots to collect and start 2 ball multiball
    "Werewolf, Baby" - SuperPOPs
"Jesus Frankenstein" - Hit neuton ball 4x to light.
"Mars Needs Women" - Hit all drop targets to light lanes
"Superbeast" - Ramp shot back to flipper
    "Feel So Numb" - Kickback
"Meet the Creeper" - Collect all modes to start Wizard mode. Complete for super-jackpot and unlock complete Rob Zombie discography for Jukebox

Features - Animated/lit Demon Speeding Rob Zombie
Superbeast - Ramp with Superbeast head and claws
Phantom Creep - Magnet lock shot
