Quoted from pinballrockstar:

We have trouble getting the goalie motor going, how do you configure this? as a coil?
Because it ain't a coil and it ain't a flasher?

Hmm, yeah, we probably should have used a more generic name like 'driver' instead of 'coil', but yes, 'coil', is how you want to define it. 'coil' is just describing a type of feature for which you can use standard functions like (enable, pulse, disable, pwm, etc). The actual feature on the machine could be a magnet, flasher, motor, coil, etc... really anything you want to programmatically turn on/off.

BTW - I'm loving the updates. This is a really cool project!

Quoted from InfiniteLives:

If you had a Color DMD installed, could you have color dots with the PROC system?

Quoted from pinballrockstar:

It is currently not supported

Actually Randy got ColorDMD / P-ROC support working a year or so ago!

Thanks for clearing that up, Bas. I hope your conversion goes smoothly.

Just to clarify the board details for those reading along, our original P-ROC board is the board that works with existing driver boards (such as the WPC boards the Amigos were using previously in the machine).

The newer and less expensive P3-ROC, combined with PD-16, SW-16, and PD-LED boards, is what most of our custom machine customers (and all of the pinball manufacturers that are using our boards) are using.

Quoted from MarkInc:

Just stick your hot tip in there and see what happens!

That's actually what you're supposed to do, assuming it's 'tinner'. It helps prevent tip oxidation when the iron is off.
