Quoted from pinballrockstar:What an awesome led hack, you hardly notice the wiring?
At least he didn't drill a hole in the backglass or something.
This is one of the best threads on this site. Sorry to hear the ramp didn't work out. I'm sure we all know that feeling of working hard on something and it not working out. But keep up the great work! Can't wait to see all the future updates.
Bugsy
Awesome job, keep up the great work!
One minor piece of advice for you. If you are taking a video, rotate your mobile/camera/smartphone to horizontal and then take the video. It will look way better on YouTube and will give a wider view of the game itself.
I just thought of this - it would have been cool to make a loop wireform, like a roller coaster.... Hmmm... I'm trying to think how this would work. It definitely would look cool having a loop right there under the glass for the visual factor. Not sure how that would work practically and in gameplay though.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:The new ramp is real smooth, everything is connected and the subway under the upper playfield works well.
I love how fast the ball goes from the wireform to the flipper. Keeps you on your toes.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:How many vote for cleaning the dirty upper flipper?!
I've been waiting for this post for far too long! I would lose sleep every time I saw that dirty flipper.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Okay! Here it is! ( drumroll )
The upper flipper is brand spanking new again!!!
Hey Amigos,
Check out Bowen's new tutorial on Baywatch. Maybe it will help you in appreciating the game a little more.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Just look at how awesome and straight this is,we are sitting on gold as far as i am concerned
At least tag this picture NSFW, my god man.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Brand spanking new chrome lockbar, chrome siderails, chrome legs, legbolts, protectors and new leg mount plates(we hate crappy mount plates)
As a matter of fact, that gif would make an awesome match sequence on the display. The green "fog" would instead be a number, but would be kind of wavy to show the resemblance of gas.
Figured I'd start your Friday off with some Minion toys I found. Let me know if you want me to send you some

Hot damn! I should have saved my reaction gif for after the Gru cut and then the removal of the protector film. I practically almost fell backwards in my chair, same as the gif
Incredible work.
Quoted from meSz:Sooooo glad it's Friday as I need a break from that Treasure Cove (JD post) debacle!!!
I've got a different type of popcorn for this thread.
pinballrockstar We are all blood thirsty savages and need our Friday fix. Can't wait to see what you guys have in store for us.
Quoted from Ballsofsteel:game 1 is not so far away!
When is the "Pinball Amigos game #2 prediction" thread?
I was wondering what you guys would be doing in the "shoot", "el macho", and "volcano" area. I see there is a big red piece of plastic there now. I thought there would be some guided area for the ball to go and then return to the left inlane behind those targets. Kind of like the right side on Spiderman.
Here is an idea. Make a guided area under the plastic that is not really visible to someone who's never seen the game before. Since that area of the game is not really accessible by a flipper shot, the ball would carom and fall in there by chance. You could put a switch under the plastic in that guided area and program it to either start a "secret mode" after some other shots (like after a certain amount of ramp shots, or loops shots) or play funny sounds, or do something cool.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:No!
A volcano!!
Hahaha ok ok. But think of the cool hidden path under the plastic......
Quoted from pinballrockstar:Cool paths don't have lava Bugsy!
What part of that don't you understand!!!
To be honest, I'm not sure why I'm questioning you. You guys have made it this far and I keep getting blown away at this amazing project.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:We are tired..
But next week, our volcano is going live with oldpinguy's real flame led mod!
That volcano sucks, my idea was better
Looking good so far guys

+1 for Bergkamp <3
¡Hola Amigos!
Looking good so far! These Friday updates are always awesome.
Question about the slingshots though: will you be attaching any toys or figures to those slings? The plain orange plastic just looks kind of bare. I could see a few small minions attached with double sided tape (or something similar) right on top of them. I think it would give the game a nice look, maybe give it a bit more depth.
I'm thinking of something like this:
Quoted from SUPERBEE:So what is the next big challenge ?
The next challenge is getting it to Dallas for the TPF...
Quoted from j_m_:which is great for all games except those that keep track of the date/time for "real time" events like midnight madness. NVRAM doesn't update the machine's internal clock when the machine isn't powered on
Yeah, this is news to me too. But luckily none of my games have a midnight mode so NVRAM is still the best option for me.
I haven't posted in a while but I haven't missed a beat. The game is looking really awesome, great job.
Quoted from pinballrockstar:i have been thinking about wood too
You are on a roll now
Damn, no love for Party Monsters?! That's a real shame. But glad it's going to a good home where it will get played.
Wait, it's finished? It's over? I thought we were just getting started.
The game looks incredible! Maybe one day I will get to play it in person. Looking forward to the gameplay video. What is your filming set up going to look like? Birds eye view with separate player and DMD cameras, like they do at PAPA?
Nice videos, the game looks great. But when are the full game videos? I want to see a three player match between all the Pinball Amigos.
